Totally fun for anyone who likes Buffett’s music. The song setups were clever and the actors were good company. Nothing profound or unpredictable, but who goes to Margaritaville looking for profundity? Warning: no legroom in seats.
Margaritaville was fabulous would see it again in a heartbeat
Between the singing, dancing and storyline, you were entertained the whole time. Highly recommend to all ages. I took my 78 year old mom not knowing if she would enjoy it since she is not that familiar with Jimmy Buffet music but she has not stopped raving about it to her friends.
The show was not awful but nothing special either. For that price I wanted to be wowed, it was just so-so.
Escape to Margaritaville was a really fun experience.
My husband and I laughed out loud and cried silently for the entire two hours of this production. We were carried away from our worries on a dreary Sunday to a lively, fun musical escapade. The main characters showed great chemistry with each other. The professional dancers were on pointe. The Buffet music and singing--magical. Be sure to see it before it closes. Everyone needs love, fun, and frolic.
The dancing numbers were outstanding. The music was good, especially for Buffett fans, but each melody was pretty much the same. The story is one you've seen a thousand times but the jokes were clever and the acting was fine. All things considered, it was a very enjoyable production.
My wife and I live on the other side of NYS and made a weekend visit to NYC specifically for the show. It was worth the trip. The music was all BUFFETT, disappointed the older audience didn't show their 'fins', but they did know salt, salt, salt!
My wife and I had a fabulous time. The show was not only musically entertaining but hysterical as well. You don’t even have to be a fan of Jimmy Buffett to enjoy this, but it does make it better if you are. Don’t miss it !
This show is a must see for any Jimmy Buffett fans out there. I bought the tickets for my husband, who is a huge Parrot Head. The way that they intertwined the songs into the plot line was hilarious and spot on. The show was light hearted, yet very touching. This show absolutely made our trip; it was my husband's first trip to New York, and he cannot stop raving about this show.
This is a production that had a smile on your fae the entire show. Buffett fans will love how they tie the songs together.

This show was lighthearted and fun. It was funny, happy, and you can sing along to all the songs! It was a great way to spend a couple hours.
Fun and exciting, you wanted to dance in your seat
If you like buffet you will enjoy this show! Even if your not a fan I think you will enjoy it. Lots of energy, fun cast, funny, good music, and margaritas. just a fun time! I would even go see it again in the future!

Have to say it was better than I thought it would be, it was just wonderful!!! Moved quickly, fun story. Of course the music was the best!!! Would recommend it to everyone! DO NOT miss it!
Forget the critics who must have expected that new dramatic and musical ground would be broken. The rest of us knew that this show is, predictably, a combination of great Buffett music driving a thin, fun, semi-mindless plot. How could it be anything else. The audience loved it. High energy, great dancing and choreography, excellent vocals (better than Jimmy) clearly compensate for any deficiencies. If a fun experience is good enough for you, then see ETM.
Great script that worked in many of Buffet's best tunes. And Jimmy shows up on the balcony at the end of the play when the entertainers are taking their bow and the band keeps playing. He's playing his Strat and he looked great - didn't say a word. What a great time and what a great band; the entertainers were all 1st class vocalists and musicians. The script was fabulous in how they worked in Buffet's songs. So glad we went - it was wonderful.
