    Burdon was Wow, Wow, Wow!

by kina on 10/14/13Saban Theatre - Beverly Hills

Eric Burdon and his band were fantastic. His unique voice is still so powerful. He truly is an artist, timeless and knows how to work his audience. His band was so top notch, very well rounded with the experienced old timers as well as the younger amazing players. They supported him so well so that he could be his best. Rock on. Great show! On a side note, the two opening acts were sub par....sorry.

My husband was unsure about going but.....so glad we did! Eric rocked it, put on a great show with his voice true to form. Also, his backup band was great too. I would def. go see him again and love the Hart Theatre!

Eric Burdon at the Egg 05/19/2013....Fabulous.

by blowlox on 5/21/13Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

Eric still 'has it." All the music that I grew up with, and more, was played live in a very intimate and acoustically perfect setting. I would see him over and over again, but I cherish the fact that I got to see him once while he was still touring and at his best. Go see him if you have a chance, you will not be sorry.

Glad I didn't miss this opportunity

by Classof69Rocker on 5/21/13Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

In some cases the older musicians have lost their one time gifts. Not in the case of Eric Burdon. He does the old songs as well or even better. His newer material is just as good as the old but his life experience shows through in a brilliant way. . We go to a lot of concerts and this was up there on our list. Close to the Stones. If you can't get to the show, his new CD Till Your River Runs Dry is great. At least check out the CD. My wife is hording it in her car. We drove two hours each way and my wife had to be up for work at 5:30 AM but we both would do it again.

    Bad Timing

by utican on 5/21/13Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

Eric Burdon had a good back up band and he himself did a good job. It would have been a much better show had the timing been better. Ticketmaster said the show started at 7:00. I figured for a Sunday night this would be OK. I am not a late nighter as I'm sure 90% of audience was not - as they were primarily seniors in the crowd. So 7 to around 9:30 would be good for a Sunday night. When we get there, primed for a 7:00 start, we find out that there is a warm up performer. Ughh - OK so there goes another hour. THEN we are told that the show doesn't start until 8:00. They blamed it on bad advertising and Ticketmaster. So Eric didn't go on until around 9. At that point you could sense that the crowd wasn't into it and therefore Eric wasn't into it. But Eric and his bad did a pretty good job.

    eric burdon is a genius

by ericbfan on 4/22/13The Canyon - Agoura Hills

As a long time Eric Burdon fan, I was excited to see this legend perform. He is truly a master and other young singers should see him. His style and connection with the audience is magical. He allows you to be part of it and his voice is extraordinary. New songs and old hits were a perfect blend in this 80 minute set. His band is tight as a drum and he allows them all to solo. Clearly they are a family. I feel part of that now and look forward to going again..

    So much fun!

by Katrinka on 4/22/13The Canyon - Agoura Hills

Eric Burdon was wonderful!!! He has so much energy, his voice is the same, outstanding! The best version of House of the Rising sun was this night!! He mixed in new songs with older ones, but it didn't matter, it was his voice I came to hear. He also sang We've gotta get out of this place, Spill the wine (awesome) I wish he would have sang San Francisco nights, and Anything, but it was ok. I love going to The Canyon, no traffic, no parking, eat at Wood Ranch first and saunter right in to stand up close. I will never understand how people can sit down at concerts, at those tables. I choose standing every time. If you've never seen Eric Burdon in person, GO! You will be glad you did!!
