About

EN VOGUE IN CONCERT:

En Vogue have been giving audiences something they can feel since their red-hot 1990 debut album Born to Sing. Combining impressive vocal harmonies and a sassy, empowered lyrical sensibility, the R&B divas dominated '90s airwaves, becoming one of the most successful girl groups of the decade. At their 2013 concerts, the ladies stunned crowds with their pitch-perfect a cappella breakdowns, sharp choreography, and stylish stage presence, building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"En Vogue sang their hearts out and even went a little over their time."

"These three ladies put on quite the show. The song selection was great! They also took time to thank the audience on more than one occasion, making me feel good about spending my hard earned money to see them."

"The concert was amazing!! The ladies were so down to earth and very entertaining... I would definitely go again..."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in the mold of the legendary girl groups of the '50s and '60s, En Vogue's throwback sound resonated with audiences, propelling their 1990 debut Born to Sing to No. 3 on the Top R&B Albums chart. 1992 follow-up Funky Divas would prove an even bigger success, earning the band a host of awards and five Grammy nominations with ubiquitous No. 1's "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)" and "Giving Him Something He Can Feel." The group's sophisticated image, benefitting from several stylish videos in heavy rotation on MTV, added to their appeal, earning them more MTV Video Music Awards than any other female group in history. Despite lineup changes over the years, original members Terry Ellis and Cindy Herron remain, ensuring that En Vogue's live show remains loyal to the group's heyday.

    Great show

by TG on 8/22/22Viejas Casino & Resort - Concerts in the Park - Alpine

The venue was great, the weather cooled off just in time to be outdoors. The performance was fantastic! The ladies went above and beyond to put on a great show. It was a little short, but they were accommodating with the crowd afterward. The seats to the right of us were very obstructed view. That should’ve been listed in the ticket choices. Ours had a slight obstruction, but we still had great seats.

    Concert not long enough

by Bambi on 8/22/22Viejas Casino & Resort - Concerts in the Park - Alpine

I was very upset the concert was only 70 minutes long and I was bringing my disabled daughter to the concert for her first concert and we got there right when it was over and she was so upset.

    Sad and unorganized

by Auntie CatCat on 8/22/22Viejas Casino & Resort - Concerts in the Park - Alpine

For one there was no live band to back up En vogue. No shade to en vogue but they had to do their own DJ with their reel music. It was like listening to karaoke and their whole show was unorganized and they kept having glitches. Also trying to get a drink was virtually impossible because of how an organized Viejas is. There’s only two bars with 300 people waiting for a drink absolutely ridiculous, I couldn’t even get a cup of water. It was a huge disappointment

    Nailed it!

by Carolee648 on 5/27/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

They looked amazing and sounded even better. The Free Your Mind song was awesome! The lighting and background made me feel like I was inside the video. The ladies brought it to Dallas. I was happy to see Rhona perform since she was not feeling well enough to attend the meet and greet.

    Disappointed

by Disappointed Fan on 5/24/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

I thought the concert was great, but was disappointed that the meet and greet for En Vogue was at the same time as my NKOTB meet and greet, so I wasted $100 on a meet and greet that I didn’t get to do. It would have been nice to know before I bought the ticket that multiple meet and greets may not be possible.

    Disappointing

by WeekendL0ver on 5/24/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

First, the email with the instructions of where to meet and check in did not come 3 days before the meet and greet. It came the night before. Then the check in was at 345 but didnt happen until close to 430. We had to wait out in the hot sun. Then we were told the "GIRLS" were late. When we finally went inside, we were told only 2 of the group would be there. We also could not take any photos with our phones, no autographs, no touching,or even getting near them. Their interaction with us was minimal. They seemed tired and unhappy to be there. My time with them was maybe 15 seconds. And who wants a photo when everyone has a mask on? Then after our photo was taken, the organizer told us to exit the room and find our way out. So a few of us went to sit at the Modelo bar. Then one of the security guards kicked us out. So, this was about 5 or 530. A few of us found a nearby bar and ordered some appetizers and waited until the doors opened to go back inside for the show. Overall this was very disorganized and a waste of time and money. I will never add vip/ extras onto purchases again. The overall experience was terrible.

    En Vogue was horrible

by Tara on 12/21/21Suquamish Clearwater Casino Event Center - Suquamish

I was so disappointed. I spent $80 on a ticket for barely an hour performance. There were a few songs that were ok but overall the concert was not good at all. For as far out as it was we also had to pay for a room. I will never go back for a concert and I definitely will never pay to see En Vogue again.

    Spectacular!

by Jennifer on 12/20/21Suquamish Clearwater Casino Event Center - Suquamish

En Vogue was phenomenal and they still got it! I felt very nostalgic for them bringing back old school jams! The crowd was outstanding and having fun by dancing and singing alot to the music. Way to close out 2021 at the end of the last month during the holidays! The venue was the right fit for it. I missed going to events at the casino and we all needed this from the unprecedented pandemic!

    Hot!

by Lucymc on 12/20/21Suquamish Clearwater Casino Event Center - Suquamish

We were lucky enough to see them in a casino venue, not the best acoustics, but small and intimate. I must say, hey were incredible! Just on fire with incredible high energy the whole show. I think it was a rehearsal for a larger tour, we loved every minute. They opened with Free Your Mind, the crowd were on their feet immediately. Fun night, great show!

    Fun and Funky!

by Rosebud on 12/20/21Suquamish Clearwater Casino Event Center - Suquamish

The ladies looked so gorgeous, and were really fun to watch. My only complaint was the band was louder then their voices. We sat in front of the sandman just so we could get the best sound. The crowd was very loud so I'm sure that makes a difference, but the mix was too messy. Loved the hits and had a blast over all. 1 hour was not long enough! Thanks for coming to Kitsap, really loved it the R&B vibe.

    Meh

Literally only an hour $80. No opener, lip syncing and super short. Wasn’t worth the money I spent. Pretty disappointed
