    Exceeded Expectations

by Kat on 3/11/24Saint Andrew's Hall - Detroit

I had an absolute blast at Emo Night Brooklyn! It took the audio team a second to get the music to the right volume during the first part of the first song but after that, it was spot-on. The DJ covered a wide variety of punk/rock/emo music from Evanescence to A Day to Remember to Green Day to Mayday Parade to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I barely had my voice leaving that night. Definitely go, its worth it!

    Not emo

by Lyss on 3/11/24The Senate - Columbia

If you like pop and rock this is the show for you. If you are looking for an actual emo show this is not for you. Will never go to this show again it was our second time it didn’t get better.

    Wack.

by Meow on 2/28/24Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I don't like to gatekeep but if you're going to hold an "emo"event, then play emo music. I absolutely love blink182, Linkin park and limp bizkit but they're not emo. When there is so much content out there I shouldn't hear my chemical romance 4 times in 1 hour. Play them once and move on. Play each artist once. If you're worried about new comers not knowing the deeper cuts, well thats on them. They knew the event the signed up for and if they don't know some material, that's their chance to hear new music then. Do better 🧡

My favorite DJ by far for emo night I think his name was James or Josh he was very funny, nice and engaged with the crowd he also played an amazing mix of genres. The food was also good and came fast. Bartenders are always nice and know how to make a drink.

    Nostalgic fun

by Alex on 1/31/24Irving Plaza Powered By Verizon 5G - New York

It’s a fun night if you’re into 2000s/2010s emo, even if you’re only somewhat into the genre. You only need to know the more mainstream songs and bands to have a good time. The DJs have awesome energy and the special guests are a really cool surprise

    Phenomenal

by Amy on 1/30/24Irving Plaza Powered By Verizon 5G - New York

This was my first emo nite concert and the experience was outstanding. Being surrounded by other people who grew up with the same music that I have listened to felt mesmerizing. The crew on stage were welcoming and full of energy when singing along to throwbacks. They really interacted with the crowd and brought out the energy from them. I hope to go to another Emo nite soon.

Make it a real Emo night

by Ash on 1/15/24White Oak Music Hall - Upstairs - Houston

The music was extremely poppy and dad rock. I came for emo music. This was my 3rd time attending emo night Brooklyn. The last time they played pretty good emo. The harder stuff (Silverstein, Underoath, emmure, senses fail, etc.) This time they played a ton of Paramore, linkin park and a lot of other pop/rock songs to get the crowd moving I assume. We come for emo music. It’s emo night. Not 94.5 the buzz radio. Get another DJ next time who actually knows what true emo music is please.

A crazy night with pros and cons

by Keolli on 1/2/24The Observatory - Santa Ana

The $25 parking, or $10 parking if you walked from a further lot, was too expensive imo. The drinks and food at the bar also had very inflated prices. There were two events going on at the same time in the venue. This caused there to be too many people at times. One Emo Night DJ was pretty good, but the other DJ was sub-par. The music didn’t really live up to my expectations, but I still had a fun time moshing and singing to the songs I knew. The bathrooms were pretty nice and the free ice water dispenser on the counter was a huge plus. All the staff was pretty nice and they helped crowd-surfers get back on their feet by the stage.
