Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

Amazing stage presence and interactions with the fans. Took my kids and they loved it 😁 10/10 will be seeing them again. Also the first time ever getting free water bottles at a show it was amazing 🤩

  • Electric Performance

by Mrgomez814 on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

1st time seeing a show at Aragon Ballroom and it was awesome! The venue was great and with the stage being on the 2nd floor you could really feel the bass in your feet. All 3 bands were great, but Electric Callboy really brought the energy. The entire crowd was into the whole set and everyone kept the energy going all night long. Electric Callboy interacted with the crowd several times and the lights with the screen behind them really elevated the set. I can't wait to see them again and bring friends to make them fans like I did this time.

Electric Callboy has to be one of the best live performances I have ever witnessed. The show was full of energy and the sound was amazing. The band put on an amazing show that left my party and I wanting a third encore. The crowd was totally into it and the leads appeared to be loving the energy that Chicago brought. Next time they are in the states, we will be returning.

  • Late and slow

by 60045ith on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

The opening band started 45 minutes late, and there was an extremely long gap between the opener and electric callboy

  • Amazing as always!

These guys never put on a bad performance. They are always engaged and excited to be up on stage. I also commend the selection of Bury Tomorrow as an opener. First time in a very long time that I have actively enjoyed an opener and sought out their music after the show.

  • Perfection, Ecstasy, Love

by Sorina on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I could wax poetic about how wonderful every tiny detail of the show was, but I don't want to spoil everything. Of course, I love Electric Callboy's music. It's easy to dance to or headbang to or jump to; it was made for movement. They sound just as amazing live as they do in studio (with the added thrill of feeling those dance beats echoing in your chest when live). The whole band is made of talented and charismatic people who you could tell enjoy every second of being on stage and who care that their crowd is taken care of. The whole production was phenomenal from the sound, to the video introduction for Tekkno Train, to the soft dance lights for Hurrikan. Just amazing. It was the perfect night. Wouldn't change a thing.

I came for Bury Tomorrow, left a HUGE Electric Callboy fan! I've heard them before, my husband is obsessed, but until I was in that crowd with that energy and all that fun, I didn't fully appreciate it. 100/10, will see again!!! And, as always, will always be there to see Bury Tomorrow.

by Ella on 5/16/24The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was absolutely phenomenal! To the performances, to the atmosphere, to the stage set up and location, 10/10. Beautiful venue, very fun show, good energy. Only complaint was that I wish food and drink was a bit cheaper, however that’s to be expected at any venue.

  • Electric Callboy lived up to the Hypa Hypa!

by Josh on 5/16/24The Rooftop at Pier 17 - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Electric Callboy put on an awesome, high-energy performance with fantastic production. They sound just as great live as in their music videos. The visuals & light show that accompanied the band was top notch. Paired against the backdrop of the Pier 17 Rooftop with views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Brooklyn & lower Manhattan was icing on the cake.
