Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

The band is amazing to see live. They have a ton of fun on stage and involve the crowd. The sound at the show was balanced well and it is an extremely clean and well organized venue.

The energy during the show, from both them and the crowd, was absolutely amazing! Best atmosphere at any show hands down. Can’t wait to see them again!!!!!!

  • Could have been way better. People suck!

by Rkpop on 5/20/24REBEL - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Band was great! Venue was cramped and people were awful! I won’t be seeing a concert at the Rebel in Toronto again. It was way too crowded. the people were rude, disrespectful and did not care about personal space. A bunch of narcissists enjoyed this concert, while me and my boyfriend got shoved from our spot and rude people ruined the show for us. I don’t think once someone said excuse me or sorry or pardon me. Worst concert experience. Rebel needs to limit the amount for tickets they sell. 3,000 people in that venue at once is ridiculous.

  • I was smiling like an idiot!

Electric Callboy is a bucket list band for me, and the experience was phenomenal. I knew I was going to a metal concert, but I didn't realize I'd signed up for a comedy show as well. 😅 The band is hilarious, and you can tell the crew is too. They're fantastic performers and everyone is sooo talented. I knew Kevin was going to be incredible screaming and growling live, but I had no idea that Nico did as much screaming and growling as he does live, and he was excellent. The switches between cleans and screams were flawless. David just casually annihilated Sandstorm in a drum solo and made it look effortless, and all the guitarists were on fire. And I loved the hot pink glittery guitars and bedazzled mics. I will 1000% be back at any of their shows that I have the opportunity to see and I cannot recommend going to see them highly enough! Strap in for one hell of a night!

This show was totally worth the long trip. The openers were good but Electric Callboy was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad I was able to see them on their limited tour in the US. One of the funnest, most energetic shows I've been to in a long time.

How could you go wrong with Eskimo Cowboy? Drew me in with their heavier stuff long time ago. I know their newer stuff was fun and crazy but holy hell...Seeing them live brought a whole new vibe. Went to this show with my lady, who I met at this venue. So there may be a tiny bit of positive bias there hah. This was a metal rave at the Aragon Ballroom. Enough said. Usually attend anywhere from 1-6 shows a week, this is an unforgettable experience.

Flew in from Dallas Texas to see electric callboy and it was truly worth it! I was suppose to see them two years ago and that show got canceled. So to finally see them was a blast!! If you like metal and electronic music this band is the band to see!

  • Tons of fun

  • AWESOME!!!!

by Brooke on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I drove almost 4 hours to see them (I came from Michigan to see them in Chicago) and it was EPIC!! I will absolutely be back to see them again! Hopefully this time in both Michigan and Chicago! My husband and I bought a bunch of their merch because their hat was embroidered beautifully and their t-shirts were actually FUN! Not just two color bland looking black shirts! Also id like to point out this band loves what they do and it absolutely shows! They sounded flawless and they had so much fun up there! Again, I can’t say it enough.. it was EPIC!

  • Not just saying

by Gabe on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to HUNDREDS of shows. They are hands down Top 3 best live bands you can ever see. If you have the change to see them just do it. They don't come to America often, so when they do just buy your ticket. don't think about it. just do it

  • What a show!

by Ambersue99 on 5/18/24Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

First time at the Aragon and first time EC show! They didn’t disappoint! They sounded amazing live and even though it was hot in the venue it didn’t take away from the fun. Only bad part of my night was a stupid girl who was in front of me purposefully pushing into me and my husband after we asked her to stop numerous times. Other people had asked her to cut it out as well…even more fun fact was they were underage drinking with their group. Really wish she would have stayed home or just went to another area as she really made the second half of the show a real damper for quite a few of us. If she wouldn’t have been the type to press charges for breathing on her, she would have caught these hands and problem would have been solved. But overall EC was fantastic and I can’t wait to see them again

The energy of the crowd was insane, although the heat was nuts the show they put made you forget all about it. Electric Callboy are not only super talented cool and creative but they are the funnest nicest men! They make me happy
