Electric Callboy on Tour
Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.
Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.
In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.
The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.
In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.
In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.
In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.
Amazing concert. So much energy. I can not wait for the next one!
Seriously, what a unique blend of energy, vocals, hooks, and stage gimmicks these guys have. This show was incredible, and the energy they deliver to the crowd is insane.
Electric Callboy is EXCELLENT! They put on such a great show. The lights, the confetti, the energy. Loved it. The venue though was packed like sardines, not much room to do, or move at all. You were grinding/groping people unintentionally, all night.
The crowd was fantastic, the pit amazing and Electric Callboy's got the moves.
Best concert I've been to. The energy was off the charts!
A really fun show can’t wait to see them again. Hypa hypa great live as all their songs are.
Electric Callboy live performances live up to the energy in their music videos. A fun packed show marrying techno and metal. It was both a dance party and a mosh pit. 10/10 would see again.
Once again The Fillmore refuses to think smart about capacity and crammed in way too many people. The acts were amazing and the AV game was on point, but it's so hard to enjoy the great show when you're stuck trying to occupy the same space as 5 other people
Some of the best showmanship I've ever seen. Been in the music business myself now for about 15 years performing and going to shows and ice yet to see a better all around live show that wasn't pop.
I had so much fun with this group. The show was well done and flowed seamlessly with callbacks to older songs and newer songs. Can't wait for them to come back!
Unbelievable. Outstanding show, and huge crowd for the Fillmore. Bring them back please!
A quick entry. Fast services for drinks. Awesome bands! Electric Callboy was the best band ever!
Very fun and energetic show. I have been waiting 2 years to see this band, it was well worth the wait. It was also a friend's birthday, so it was beyond fun.
Couldn't believe how quickly the shows sold out. It was worth buying the tickets as soon as possible. Although it was super packed at the venue, everyone was super nice. It was so much fun from start to finish.
Best show I've ever been to All three bands brought amazing energy Great show from open to close The headliner has become my favorite band over the last two years nobody has hyped up a crowd as much as these guys did
These guys had such incredible energy and sound even better live than recorded. I was so exciting to see them, and they sure as hell did not disappoint! 100% would see them again! I like the layout of the venue, and felt that drinks and bathrooms were easy to find and get to.
This band is absolutely amazing! They put on the best show I've seen in years
So much fun. High energy, room to dance. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Drinks could be stronger :p overall good time
An absolutely wonderful show. I learned about some bands I hadn't heard of before (Conquer Divide and Solence) who put on a great show and then Electric Callboy brought some intense energy with their performance. We danced and headbanged nonstop. Can't wait to see them again.
This was one of the best concerts I've ever been too! Absolutely phenomenal stage presence, they sound damn near identical to studio audio, and overall it was incredible. I will be seeing them everytime they come out my way, driving 7 hours to see them was worth it!
