Electric Callboy on Tour
Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.
Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.
In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.
The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.
In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.
In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.
In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

Super show! Venue was terrific, the crowd was civilized, and the opening bands great. Electric Callboy was one of the most fun shows I've ever gone too! They were outstanding! I only wish I could have seen them again the following night! I have definitely become a groupie for this talented, self-deprecating, and just all around terrific band! If you haven't seen them, get tickets asap.
What an incredible show at The Fillmore in MD. Both opening bands (If Not For Me and Bury Tomorrow) were great and full of energy and got the crowed pumped for Electric Callboy. As expected, Electric Callboy brought a ton of energy and put on an amazing show!
One of the most intensely fun crowds I've been in! The level of audience participation and all around involvement was amazing, so much fun! The band really seemed to enjoy themselves and also made sure the crowd was safe (since some idiots decided to get in a fight) and that everyone was having a good time. The venue was perfect for this kind of show!
One of, if not thee best concert I’ve ever been to! And, I go to a lot of concerts. Very high energy and entertaining. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait for next year!
The opener (Conquer Divide) was solid. Next was Solence- this band almost stole the whole show! But Electric Callboy measured up to the expectations. They even looked like they had fun performing. The members of the other bands joined them at the end, and they too, had lots of fun with it. I definitely recommend
Absolutely loved the show, they made it so fun and interactive. Really hope they come back next year and in a bigger venue. If I had one complaint the venue's acoustics weren't great. But otherwise great performance and set list!
Electric Callboy was amazing. This was my first time seeing them live and they were really getting everyone pumped. The two bands that played with them were good as well. They had great energy and really interacted with the audience - it was also the last day of the tour and they were a bit emotional but we all felt like a big family. My biggest complaint is the venue, Palladium at Times Square. Staff were stopping people from entering the general admission standing area. WE all paid the same amount for general admission tickets, I should be allowed to stand where I want. Their excuse was it was full capacity and it clearly wasn't. There was room on the sides near the stairs. - It's a rock concert what did they expect was going to happen? I've been here before they changed the name, to a sold out concert and they never did this before. It really ruined the mood.
Metal shows can be crazy between the mosh pits and crowd surfing. When I tell you the security was locked in when it came to safely bringing people down is an understatement. They were absolutely out there with safety in mind and it was also cool to see them enjoying the show at times. Also the fact that they handed out water through out the night was thoughtful and really made a difference for me personally. Electric Callboy probably has never put on a bad live show, tons of energy, and you can feel that they really care for the music they perform. Their opening act Solence was also excellent, I had never heard of them and left with a lasting impression
I became a fan of Electric Callboy after they were name-dropped in a science fiction book by Jeremy Robinson. Their songs are so irreverent and fun. Their electronic core sound somehow finds a perfect balance of humor, metalcore with pop ballad hooks, and electronica. The first two songs I ever heard from them are "We got the Moves"and "Pump It". Those songs are about having fun at the beach with friends and the love of working out, respectively. When I went to the concert, I had no idea they had such a loyal core of fans. The crowd was filled with people that dressed up in the same goofy outfits the band wears in their offbeat videos. After talking with some of them, I learned that many had travelled from across the country just to see Electric Callboy. Heck, I drove 4.5 hours from Maryland to NYC to see them...AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! My only complaint was that, while the venue was small and intimate, the sound system, especially near the back of the auditorium, distorted the bass and really chewed up the sound of the songs. Anyone standing or sitting in the back did not get the best version of the live experience. I ended up moving from my seat into the standing room only crowd, where the sound was much more crisp and the energy was obviously much higher!
We had such a blast at this show. There was so much energy and the entire set was so much fun! Definitely one of my favorite concerts ever!
First time seeing Electric Callboy. They didn’t disappoint. Would see them again.

Electric Callboy was fantastic, they had two bands play before them (Conquer//Divide and Solence), both equally good. Electric Callboy played their entire new album plus some oldies and new goodies. They interacted with the crowd quite a lot and we all sang different verses and some in between songs. They kept the energy high in between songs and honestly was the best experience I've ever got to enjoy. Hope they keep coming back for American tours because I want to go again!
Sell tickets for the general standing area if you’re going to segregate the area. I had to wait in a LINE to get back into the floor after returning a lost item to the bar (during the second band) and through the headliner- the line wasn’t moving. I had a terrible view of the headliner (electric callboy). if I knew I wouldn’t be able to enter again, I wouldn’t have left- sell tickets for the stupid pit if you’re going to do that.
The most fun time I’ve ever had at a concert. So much energy, fun, and good vibes. They made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Standup band and crew.

Show was amazing! Both openers were great! We've been fans of electric callboy for only a couple years so is was super exciting to see them in Canada! Would 100000000000% see them again! Prices were awesome! Venue was great! Hot at times but that's a given. An outdoor venue would be great!
