Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

    First Concert Ever.

by Brad on 9/18/23Big Night Live - Boston

Electric Callboy was fantastic, they had two bands play before them (Conquer//Divide and Solence), both equally good. Electric Callboy played their entire new album plus some oldies and new goodies. They interacted with the crowd quite a lot and we all sang different verses and some in between songs. They kept the energy high in between songs and honestly was the best experience I've ever got to enjoy. Hope they keep coming back for American tours because I want to go again!

Line to get into the pit?

by .. on 9/17/23Big Night Live - Boston

Sell tickets for the general standing area if you’re going to segregate the area. I had to wait in a LINE to get back into the floor after returning a lost item to the bar (during the second band) and through the headliner- the line wasn’t moving. I had a terrible view of the headliner (electric callboy). if I knew I wouldn’t be able to enter again, I wouldn’t have left- sell tickets for the stupid pit if you’re going to do that.

The most fun time I’ve ever had at a concert. So much energy, fun, and good vibes. They made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Standup band and crew.

    AMAZING

by Cjg on 9/13/23The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Show was amazing! Both openers were great! We've been fans of electric callboy for only a couple years so is was super exciting to see them in Canada! Would 100000000000% see them again! Prices were awesome! Venue was great! Hot at times but that's a given. An outdoor venue would be great!

    A night to remember

by ShingenTheRuler on 9/12/23Roxian Theatre - Pittsburgh

I was expecting a great show from a band that won an award for best live performance. I was wrong. Was possibly the best night I’ve ever had as a human. No offense to my 2 kids. But my god, amazing crowd, unreal show, and the most humble rock star band on this planet. What a time to be alive!

Electric Callboy was worth the wait.

by Jason on 9/9/23House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

All 3bands were absolutely fantastic. Electric Callboy was worth the drive and the wait, so much fun. This was my first time at the HOB. The concert was great but booking the tickets and the VIP experience was frustrating to say the least. Tried to book balcony seats online and the system would’t complete the transaction. Once at the venue we were able to enter early, as VIPs but only as GA. We got close to the stage, but because it was a sold out show there was so many people that after a bathroom break we were unable to return to the floor. We were stuck in the way back by the back bar completely blocked in. After making a trip around the venue we went upstairs to the balcony, where I was informed by staff I could buy seats in the balcony after filling out some info and paying for the seats. The seats I tried to get online months before, but couldn’t for some reason. I was unaware the seats they were available to us at that time. Concert was fantastic. Venue was beautiful, but booking and the other issues at the venue made the experience incredibly frustrating and ruined what could’ve been possibly the best show I’ve ever been to in 25+ years of going to shows and concerts.

    Tight but enjoyable

by Rotten47 on 9/9/23House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Bands were great and the sound was pretty good. Was a bit tight for me. Wasn't even by the stage and could barely move. Overall I enjoyed myself and the show was good.

    Best Show in Years!

by Merkin on 9/9/23House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

These guys really need to play bigger venues in the US! Wish radios will play their stuff more often, because they're the best new band I've heard in a while

    Right band, wrong venue

by Bob on 9/9/23House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

The show was great! Electric Callboy was amazing as advertised. But I found the venue that was booked to be a problem. House of Blues was way, way too small to host this show. It says online they can hold shows up to 1800 people but I think even 1200 would be pushing it. You can't "dance and rock out"as they advertise because you can't move, can't get to the bar, can do anything unless you pay for a VIP box. You're just smashed in there. It was definitely uncomfortable and borderline unsafe.
