Electric Callboy on Tour

Electric Callboy, formerly known as Eskimo Callboy, is a German metalcore/electronicore group specializing in comedy rock. Their first EP was released in 2010 via EMP (and later re-released via Redfield Records), and the group opened for acts such as Bakkushan, Callejon, Ohrbooten, We Butter the Bread with Butter, and Neaera.

Featuring current members Kevin Ratajczak, Daniel "Danskimo" Haniß, Pascal Schillo, Daniel Klossek, David Friedrich, and Nico Sallach, Electric Callboy has been releasing albums since 2012's debut Bury Me In Vegas, which the band followed up with the Geki Rock Tour. In fall 2013, the band won the Up And Coming award at the German Metal Hammer Awards.

In 2014, Electric Callboy released their sophomore album, We Are The Mess, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and featuring guest appearances by BastiBasti of Callejon and former Hollywood Undead singer Deuce ("Jagger Swagger"). The band toured Japan in support of the album and later toured Europe with Iwrestledabearonce, Her Bright Skies and To the Rats and Wolves as openers.

The following year, Electric Callboy released their next album, Crystals, via Spinefarm, and in 2017, they shared another album, The Scene, via People Like You and Century Media. Since then, Electric Callboy released another two albums: 2017's Rehab and 2022's Tekkno, plus one EP: 2020's MMXX. Around the release of Rehab, the band embarked on their Rehab European Tour 2019.

In February 2020, the band announced via social media that their longtime singer Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler would be leaving the band. Nico Sallach stepped in and has been the singer for Electric Callboy in the years since.

In late 2021, Electric Callboy announced that they would be changing their name from Eskimo Callboy. Their first song under the new moniker was 2022's "Spaceman" featuring the rapper FiNCH. They also released the singles "We Got The Moves," "Pump It," and "F***boi" featuring the metalcore band Conquer Divide.

In December 2021, Electric Callboy announced via Twitter that they had submitted their single "Pump It" into the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, but they were ultimately not chosen in the final list of participants.

Electric Callboy was one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had! They are very funny/silly guys and have great energy and sounded phenomenal! I’ve never seen a crowd bounce as much as they did for this band.

  • Amazing show!

by Brandon on 5/22/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We decided we were going to take our kids to their first concert. My daughter absolutely loves Electric Callboy and has for a while now. My sons birthday was the next day so he tagged a long for the experience. They both were in awe at the show. The lights, confetti, the band it was all amazing. After the show David had come down to where we were standing by the wall we we're at and seen my daughter and got so excited to see a young fan he ran back up to the stage and asked someone for some extra drumsticks and handed her one. Then Nico started down the line and introduced himself to my daughter and signed her shirt (he messed up but she was so excited she didn't care and it made the experience better tbh). Then shortly after Kevin was coming down the line and was so excited that a young fan was there and obviously signed her shirt and chatted with my wife. Now I don't know if the guys in the band do that after every show but this made the experience for them and us really high up there. My daughter on the way home would not stop talking about how she got to meet them and how they were so nice. It really created a core memory for her. She's already said if/when they come back to Boston or if they ever come to Providence she plans on us going again but wants VIP/Backstage tickets. They really did cement themselves as our families favorite band.

  • A fun experience!

I'd never been to an Electric Callboy concert before. This was my first! And it was fantastic! The performances were great! The crowd was energetic! It was also my first time at the MGM Music Hall, and it was really nice! I'd definitely go back there for other concerts!

  • Electric Callboy at MGM Landsdown - Fenway Park

by Rob on 5/22/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Electric Callboy (and their openers: If Not For Me & Bury Tomorrow) kept the non-stop energy and momentum of the show going for hours! Electric Callboy had an amazing stage presence, HUGE energy, and a great set-list. Combine all that with their unique electronicore-sound, and it made for one HELL OF A LIVE EXPERIENCE. 15/10 - Would absolutely recommend. As for MGM Landsdown at Fenway Park - a great venue, huge general admission floor, two large balconies with plenty of seating, quality security and staff, and great acoustics. I would FOR SURE see a live show there again.

by Amy on 5/22/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Electric Callboy sets the bar for all other artists. This was the best concert I've ever been to and the best venue to see it at. The energy was electrifying and the vibe was full of love and positivity. They looked and sounded incredible. A once in a lifetime experience!

  • Great show.

by Patsfan5777 on 5/22/24MGM Music Hall at Fenway - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

EC puts on a fantastic live show, my ONLY complaint which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that it was the EXACT same set as when I saw them last September. I wish they had switched it up a bit and swapped out a few of the songs this time around. Other than that it was a blast and I had a wicked good time.

  • An absolute blast
