EELS Concert Schedule and Tour
With their highly anticipated 11th studio album hitting shelves in 2014, Eels continue to carry the torch for funny yet emotional alternative rock. Packed with clever wordplay and eloquent observations about the comedy of life, songs like "Novocaine for the Soul" and "Your Lucky Day in Hell" garnered the band a serious cult following in the '90s, and nearly 20 years later they've lost none of their incisive wit. True to form, Eels' 2013 shows featured several encore fake outs that saw them repeatedly return to the stage after the crew had begun to breakdown, with all signs pointing to more shenanigans on their 2014 world tour.

Formed by singer-songwriter Mark Oliver Everett, a.k.a. "E," in 1995, Eels' 1996 debut album Beautiful Freak was a surprise hit, making its way on to the Billboard 200 with catchy alt-rock singles like "Novocaine for the Soul" and "Susan's House." The band's overnight success landed them on tour with the likes of Pulp and Fiona Apple, paving the way for a string of acclaimed albums in the '00s. Following the 2013 release of their tenth studio album Wonderful, Glorious, the band surprised fans with the announcement of another new album in 2014, coinciding with a summer world tour.
