Eddie Griffin on Tour
A popular comedian turned actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, funnyman Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990.
His Stand-Up Comedy Specials have received rave reviews including Def Comedy Jam (1992), the Cable Ace Award-nominated HBO special One Night stand (1992), the HBO special Voodoo Child (1997), Dysfunktional Family (2003), Comedy Central's You Can Tell 'Em I Said It (2011), and the Showtime Special Undeniable (2018).
Comedy Central has honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time.
As an actor, Eddie Griffin has appeared in over 50 films such films as The Last Boy Scout (1991), Coneheads (1993), Armageddon (1998), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), Norbit (2007), American Hero (2015) Mucho Dinero (2016), and A Star is Born (2018).
His most notable film role was Anton Jackson in Undercover Brother (2002). Eddie was nominated (1996) and won (2000) the NAACP Image Award for Best Actor in his own hit comedy series Malcolm and Eddie (1996-2000).
In 2019 Eddie began shooting the feature film The Comeback Trail alongside actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones.
Eddie's third SHOWTIME comedy special, Eddie Griffin: E-NIGGMA, premiered on December 6, 2019. Griffin's unapologetic storytelling canvasses his 30-plus year comedy career and offers an intimate glimpse into the 10th year of his nightly Las Vegas residency, The Eddie Griffin Experience at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.
This was hands down the funniest comedy show I ever been to; nonstop laughter to the point of gasping for air; not one dull moment; hilarious from opening to close!!

Best comedy show I've seen in a very long time. I really think that more great comedians should try to come to Hawaii at least once a year.
Eddie Griffin is amazing and a great performer. I won't compare him with other comedians. But Eddie is on the Top List. He is like number one on that list. The money spent for that show was well spent. I would have paid $50.00 to see him perform. People that went to his show got their monies worth and some. My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed ourselves. We got home and was still saying how great of a show that was. All I can say is "thanks Eddie" for a great performance. Last, Eddie remembered and saluted those stars that have pasted on and that was memorable to me. Lets bring Eddie back to Waikiki please. Like later this year 2010. This time let bring him here for one week. We share Hawaii with you Eddie. Alex

I loved it!! I wish it was indoors though, it was cold. The ticket price was reasonable and I enjoyed it very much.
My hubbby & I went to see Eddie Griffin at the Waikiki Shell on Feb 13th. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!!! His talent to connect with our diverse audience in Hawaii, channel the late-great Richard Pryor, and speak on topics that massaged the funny bone was/is amazing!! We laughed so much throughout the show, our cheeks and abs were sore by the end of the show. He gave a performance that was not constrained by time--he got his energy from the audience. You can tell Eddie Griffin loves his fans, and we were loving him back!! Another aspect of Eddie's performance that made it even more memorable was that he did an encore performance. And, through the graciousness of Mr. Griffin and his staff (thank you Will) we were able to take a personal picture with him!! That was certainly the icing on the cake!! We truly liked the venue. The Waikiki Shell is an amphitheater, but intimate, and we had great seats. We've seen Chris Rock and Cedric the Entertainer at the Blaisdell indoors, formal theater, and had fun; but being closer and feeling that energy made Eddie's show the best out of the three, hands down! EDDIE GRIFFIN defined: DOWN TO EARTH, HILARIOUS, INCREDIBLY NICE, AND ALL ABOUT KEEPING IT REAL!! Not only will I see him again, I will recommend him to EVERYONE I know!
Eddie started the show a little late...CP time but he more than delivered. He was everything we've come to expect from him. I laughed my ass off and hope he comes back soon. His material is funny and though you think you've heard it all before, you really haven't and if you did it's still funny as hell.
Man, Eddie was so funny; laughed all night. Did a great set that was long and hilarious. Learned a lot about the man behind the show and didn't realize how he got started in the business and those that helped him along the way. Gave insight into the person vs. just him showing up as a comedian. I would def. see his show again and was so glad that he chose HI to perform.
Eddie was on his game last night at the Waikiki Shell. He was having such a good time, obviously just doing what he truly enjoys and the crowd was eating it up! After 4 or so drinks onstage, he just wouldn't quit!! Truly hilarious and a crowd-pleaser. Catch him live when you can, you won't regret it ... My face still hurts from laughing so hard!! :)
Eddie Griffin was raw and hard. We enjoyed the show! Lots of laughs.

Eddie was hilarious from beginning to end. He even came out and did an encore which was awesomely funny because everyone thought the show was over so when came back out everyone was on their feet listening to him tell his encore jokes. Very Very good show tho.

Its worth the money, dude is freaking hilarious. Non stop. He kept us going, not one dull moment. He even gave us a little extra. Eddie was funny as hell, go watch the show. My face was hurting when I left.
Thank you, to Eddie. I saw the show with my adult children and their spouses. We never laughed so hard. We had front row, floor seats- that made the experience even the more enjoyable again Thank You for the memories.
Great Show! Dominique is very funny. Nothing like intellectual comedy-- Eddie Griffin is just too smart for his own good!!! Excellent show!
Amazing- I really enjoyed the show. Dominique really represented herelf as a truth black woman with the issues with black men. However, Mr. Eddie was in rare form. It was better than his reality show. I am glad, he got his Bentley back. The Sound Board's seats/chairs were too close to really enjoy the show. I couldnot holler or jump when the truth was being said. I hope to see Mr.Eddie Griffin at a different venue.

Truly an amazing event. I have not laughed so hard since Steve Harvey. Eddie really talked about some serious issues that are real and yet funny.
