I absolutely loved this show. It was well worth the money, and the time. He keeps his show fresh and relevant to what is happening in the world today. I would definitely recommend this show to others, and I plan on seeing him again when he comes back

  • Good Entertainment

by MonEll on 2/22/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Eddie started off with a blast, but then fizzled a bit at the end of the show. The show was very good, but got a bit too sentimental at the end. I went to the show to laugh, not to cry. And then there was a part where he went off-base on some religious issues. Boy, did the audience get quiet, including me. I'm not shallow nor am I a fanatic when it comes to religion, but as a comedian, make your views comedic. Eddie pretty much told us all how he felt in no uncertain terms, and said that the rest of us were idiots to believe the Bible and other written word because it was all written by man - with skewed interpretations. That said, the rest of the show was hilarious, and I love Eddie for being "Eddie". And the venue is great for this type of event.

  • Eddie G. live at the Grove

    by shaed83116 on 2/22/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

The entire evening was great from start to finish. The dinner service at the Grove was much better than expected. the seating arrangements worked well for the venue and created a great atmosphere. As for Eddie G. what can I say. He was great! Had us laughing the entire time. The only hiccup of the night was the opening act. Funny but way out of his league it seemed.

    by 2creoles on 2/21/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

It's too bad they did not advertise more, but lucky for us that we were able to have fabulous seats aprox 6 rows back, but in the front row of the second layer up close to the stage, had a great view, and he was great as he usually is I would recommend his show to all of my friends, a must see.

by Wilzma on 2/20/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Great show Eddie did not disappoint. I felt that maybe his show should have been promoted better I noticed a lot of empty seats. Eddie is hilarious the venue should have been sold out. I didn't even hear about the show until a week before. If he comes back I'm definately buying tickets.

  • Just Ok

by Anonymous on 2/20/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

This was my first time seeing him. When I go see a comedian, I want to laugh. I had a couple laughs but it was more like the world according to Eddie. I was kinda disappointed. I'd only go see him again if someone invited me. Oh, but his sharing about Bernie Mac, Richard Pryor and Michael Jackson was touching. He even got a touch of emotions when talking about Pryor. AAwwww

  • Eddie was hilarious

  • Eddie Tore Down The Waikiki Shell

    by ComedyJunkie2010 on 2/17/10Waikiki Shell - HonoluluRating: 5 out of 5

Eddie's show was great. I am so glad that I got to go see him. I have been to see Chris Rock and Cedric The Entertainer within the last year or so but Eddie's show took the cake. He is the most down to earth comedian out there and you can relate to everything he says. He was havin so much fun that he was on stage for 1 1/2 hours. He then left the stage and came back for an encore 10 minutes. Great show, Great night and hope to see you back soon Eddie at the Shell (Not the Blaisdalle).
