  • JOKERS WHAT???

by Conyers on 4/11/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Arnez J was the best and Eddie was good as well, but I dont think the crowd was ready for Eddie. He was drinking and smoking and used very vulgar language. I didnt have a problem with it, but i seen a lot of people leave because it was too raw for them. I understand why he did it, but to get a message across profanity is not all the time needed. , Overall good show.

Really enjoyed Eddie, however his preformance was cut short due to his start time. I did not like the two preformance prior to him. The rapping twin girls and the fake a&& James Brown, they could have left them out and gave that time to the headliner.

  • Eddie Griffin is the Funniest

Eddie Griffin was very exciting. He kept it real and did not bite his tongue. Even though he schooled us on todays political insights he kept it real, needless to say. My husband and I enjoyed him.

What a great show. Eddie Griffin is hilarious. He had the audience in the palm of his hands from the moment he walked on stage. I loved that he incorporated personal memories of Bernie Mac, Richard Pryor, and Michael Jackson into his show. Three great talents who will be missed.

  • Awesome show!

Perfect valentine's gift! My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the show! Eddie Griffin was great! His jokes were funny and I would definitely see him perform again. The show started a little bit late but his act was a couple of hours long. He incorporated the audience during his show to say jokes that would pertain to some of the audience. Although not all of his jokes were appropriate, I wasn't offended and it was super funny.

  • The Eddie Griffin Experience

by cloudmover on 2/23/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 4 out of 5

We were seated in the front of the dining area and shared the table with four other couples. The energy at our table was very upbeat and we all shared commonalities and great conversation. The group that we sat with covered a broad span of age and race. The entire theater was filled with Griffin fans from the senior white ladies in the front row to the under 25 young people at our table. The food was great. A variety of foods were ordered at our table and each dish exceeded our expectations in presentation and flavor. When Eddie Griffin took the stage he wore us out with laughter in response to his comedy. He seemed to relax as the show went on and he made us relax and laugh even more. He touched on everything from Politics, sex, kids, animals, race, and added a few new words to the english language. We had a very memorable evening with Eddie Griffin at The Grove in Anaheim and we would do it again.

  • Eddie G. equals hilarious entertainment

by jalyrik on 2/23/10The Warfield - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I started laughing after he spoke his first few words on stage and didn't stop laughing until the end of the almost 2 hour show. Eddie has quick wit to handle out of town family and hecklers without missing a beat as if it was part of the show. He even educated some of us on the power of 3, the Bible and history. So much entertainment for the money. Because of poor promotion, I was able to get a front row seat which I have never had before throughout my 20 plus years of going to concerts & shows. His set was personal and endearing while still fitting in a joke or two in-between the sentimental moments. I would definitely see him again.

  • Eddie is the Emperor!

    by Vintage70 on 2/22/10Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Eddie Griffin many years ago, and came away with the opinion that this comedian is very talented. That evening made such a lasting impression that as soon as I saw tix available for this show, I immediately knew I wanted to go! Eddie gives a superior quality show, very at home with the audience, and you laugh, and laugh, and laugh. The crowd was shouting "No!" when he said he had to go...We didn't want it to end. He doesn't just say he's the Emperor of Comedy, he proves it!!!

The brother was funny as hell, and lived up to his rep. I would recommend him to anyone to go and see. I saw Martin Lawerence the night before, and I must say that he was somewhat betterThe only drawback if anyis opening act was not that good.
