  • Eddie is great!

    by Fogoman1 on 4/24/10The Venue - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

Saw Eddie at the Horseshoe in Hammond, IN. The show was hilarious-about 1 3/4 of non-stop laughs. He can move from topic to topic without missing a beat. Truly a great show, would see him again, no question.

  • Eddie has not lost his touch!

The opening comedy act was terrible! His jokes were not funny. He got booed during his performance. The audience got out of control with the booing to the point that the opening act had to bring Eddie onto the stage quickly. Once Eddie came out, the laughs started and continued until the end. He even joked about the opening and everyone laughed.

Eddie is hilarious!! I have always enjoyed his stupid sense of humor. He can get cruddy as we all know, but I attribute that to his routine being like Richard Pryor. You had to have your boots tied up tight to survive a Richard Pryor Revue!! It's the same with Eddie. I love how he comfortably interacts with the audience. No subject is too sensitive for him to discuss in a manner only he can do!! I hope he comes back again soon!! My folks in Wichita want him to come there. We're ol broads, but WE LOVE EDDIE!!!

Eddie was great, halarious and raw as usually... The opening act however left MUCH to be desired and was NOT even on the same par as the Main act... Love Eddie! Yeah!

It was a very funny show, however the opening act was booed off the stage. Eddie was great as usual funny and poinent at times. and his Grandday was very funny as well for 3 min.

  • Badass Show!

by Latinamezcla on 4/24/10The Venue - HammondRating: 4 out of 5

Eddie will not disappoint. There was an opening act that really messed up and the crowd was booing like crazy. Eddie was like "Damn, I didn't know Chicago ran out of funny m***ers". As soon as Eddie came out he gave the crowd 90 minutes of nonstop comedy. My husband and I laughed the entire show. I would definitely recommend this show to everyone that wants to laugh and have a good time.

This was our first time going to a live comedy show and all the comedians were great:) I would strongly recommend going to see this show with a friend or loved one so they may help you to the restroom- you will wet your pants!!!

  • Arnez J was great!!

by Anonymous on 4/14/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

The show started a half hour late, as to be expected, but it was well worth it! Arnez J is freaking hilarious! Eddie Griffin, not so much...

  • Loved the entire show!

by LegalLori on 4/13/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Eddie and Arnez were both very funny! I had a meeting earlier and didn't leave the office in time to see the opening acts. I would definitely recommend seeing them.

  • Should have been the Arnez J Show!!!

by sassyslp on 4/12/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Ok first of all, my husband and I brought the most expensive tickets, where we were seated was a great view not too far from the stage, but they were stackable seats that they just put in the area, they didn't even have arm rest by the end of the show my back and butt was hurting. We tried to get different seat but the view was not as good. So any way the show started off great, the host was great and ARNEZ J killed it. He was so darn funny!!! It should have been the Arnez J show with Eddie as the co-star. Eddie was not funny at all, he seem like he was unprepared, kept picking on a couple down front which seemed like they were put there for that reason, he did a long winded joke about Richard Pryor which was not funny, and people began walking out on him. After the show everyone walked out in slience as if they couldn't believe what just took place. All I have to say is I wouldn't recommend the show to any one unless you want to see Arnez J and the host. If Eddie is trying to earn money to get himself out of all the money problems and get caught up on his child support, he needs to come better then what he did. It was a waste of money. Arnez J could have came by himself and made alot more money!!!

The show was great Arnez J is always great to watch. Columbus was very rude and I have never been to a show where people paid money and actually boo someone off the stage and crowds of people got up and left during Eddie's performance. WHAT!!! Not only was is down right funny but you paid money to see it. I hope that they come back again

  • Arnez is the man

by laughmyheadoff on 4/12/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

As usual I thought Arnez was slammin' The M.C. was funny and the first comedian. However I was truly disappointed with the quy from Pittsburgh. I thought Eddie started out okay but fizzled out fast. I am a hugh fan of his from way back and I just didn't come away pleased nor did I have my laughing headache.

  • Great show

by Mansf on 4/12/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

Arnez J was the best and should have been the headliner!

  • Eddie Griffin Sucked!

by YWOMAN on 4/12/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 1 out of 5

Arnez J and the comedians that performed before him were great. The comedian after Arnez and Eddie Griffin were horrible. No good material and nothing but cussing at the audience makes for a bad performance. I walked out.

  • Was fair

    by YM123 on 4/11/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

Entertaining. However very offensive jokes. I will not pay to see this show again.

  • by ashanlittlejohn on 4/11/10Palace Theatre Columbus - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

Arnez J was the funniest. We laughed so hard we could have busted something. Something about real life stories and comedy make him a great comedian. Eddie Griffin we could have done without. Boring! Was barely funny. We left the show early because of him. Next time give the entire show to Arnez J.
