Eddie Griffin on Tour
A popular comedian turned actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, funnyman Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990.
His Stand-Up Comedy Specials have received rave reviews including Def Comedy Jam (1992), the Cable Ace Award-nominated HBO special One Night stand (1992), the HBO special Voodoo Child (1997), Dysfunktional Family (2003), Comedy Central's You Can Tell 'Em I Said It (2011), and the Showtime Special Undeniable (2018).
Comedy Central has honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time.
As an actor, Eddie Griffin has appeared in over 50 films such films as The Last Boy Scout (1991), Coneheads (1993), Armageddon (1998), Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), Norbit (2007), American Hero (2015) Mucho Dinero (2016), and A Star is Born (2018).
His most notable film role was Anton Jackson in Undercover Brother (2002). Eddie was nominated (1996) and won (2000) the NAACP Image Award for Best Actor in his own hit comedy series Malcolm and Eddie (1996-2000).
In 2019 Eddie began shooting the feature film The Comeback Trail alongside actors Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Tommy Lee Jones.
Eddie's third SHOWTIME comedy special, Eddie Griffin: E-NIGGMA, premiered on December 6, 2019. Griffin's unapologetic storytelling canvasses his 30-plus year comedy career and offers an intimate glimpse into the 10th year of his nightly Las Vegas residency, The Eddie Griffin Experience at the Sahara Hotel and Casino.
Eddie was great as usual...he keeps it real! Being from 'ol school' I would have enjoyed some of the older routines being incorporated. I did enjoy the way George got the crowd together with the threat of calling out audience members. Overall, the event made for a good night of laughter. Relieve stress with laughter, it works every time.
Eddie put on a good show. Good comedians are good story tellers not people who try to hit you with quick punchline after punchline and cheap gimmicks. In that regard he's up there with the Chris Rocks and Eddie Murphys of the world.

I was laughing the whole time!! The show was very interesting, and although it was supposed to last only 50 minutes, he kept going for two hours perferctly, kept us laughing. He would even freestyle a bit...things just come to his head. He is a very intelligent funny man...
Eddie Griffin was the SHOW OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!! He was to REAL FOR WORDS!!!!!!!!! I had seen Eddie live on the East coast 8 or so years ago, He was great then but now !!!!!!! He has Matured to the next level of his trade and then some.......... he is at a level that allows the true him to come out on stage, he was to COOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and He also was on stage at least 2 WHOLE HOURS that was real BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eddie was off the chain!!! He gave the audience their money's worth, with the extended show! Just like Bill Cosby. He made me like him even more than I did prior to the show. My compliments Mr. Griffin!!! Way to give your fan a show!!! And unlike most of the artist in his field he seemed care about how his fans view him. Good Job Eddie "Great Show"!!!
Eddie Griffin had me laughing so hard that I felt like I had a workout, I was so tired. He spoke the truth in delivering his message.
Eddie was so funny! He stayed on stage for two hours - well worth the ticket price - what a funny man...
This show was more than what I expected. It was straight Eddie and the audience. He was on that stage for over 2 hours, making us laugh, bringing back memories from the Richard Pryor days. This was exactly what I needed to finish off my Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks Eddie.
Eddie Griffin was the first stand up I went to and it didn't disappoint. Being a white male going to this I didn't expect what his stand up would be but he never only made fun of one certain thing, he made fun of everything. He is a down to earth guy that really talks about issues that are true and my God he always had a great punch line. I would see Eddie Griffin again for sure. Awesome performance.
To say I left the show with my sides burning and my ribs feeling cracked is an understatement. Eddie was not only a fantastic entertainer, but he connected with the audience in a way that you only get the rare chance to experience if you are there. He flowed, there was never an awkward moment, his stand up consists of real life, and he touches on subjects that everyone can relate to. He handled an out of control heckler with not distaste, but an eloquent display of intelligence that would leave even the biggest Eddie Griffin fan breathless and humbled, he had everyone jumping out of their seat applauding him. If you have the rare chance to be a part of the energy he creates with his stand up, I encourage you to go, it is an experience you will never forget!!
My boyfriend and I went to see the show and we really enjoyed it. We recommend the show to everyone that is very open minded that is...If Eddie comes back we will definitely be there! 2 thumbs up!

I REALLY FELT THAT THIS WAS BY FAR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN. SOUND WAS TERRIBLE ALMOST EVERYTHING OUT OF HIS MOUTH WAS A SLUR.
Great show! funniest I've seen by far! We had a good time! It did start a bit late but the show made up for it
This was hilariously funny! Kudos 2 thefirst 2 acts as well as the host. Eddie you were tremendous as always! I would definately attend next time around!

EDDIE HIMSELF WAS AWESOME...... IT STARTED OUT KIND OF ROCKY BUT THE SECOND EDDIE STEPPED TO THE STAGE IT STARTED. I LAUGHED THE ENTIRE SHOW. HIS JOKES WERE ACTUALLY FUNNY AND HE PERFORMED VERY WELL. MY DATE AND I REALLY ENJOYED THE SHOW AND HAS TALKED ABOUT IT TO ALL OF OUR FRIENDS. TWO THUMBS UP TO EDDIE GRIFFIN HE REALLY SHOWED OUT..... THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT LAUGH
