EchoPark Speedway Events Tickets

I went, I wasn't able to watch And I'm pissed off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Race was rained out and scheduled for a work day! Who has the money and time to go on a work day after already spending $20 to park and paying for gas and tickets? I know the rain was not controllable, but schedule it for a weekend when fans who have spent their hard earned money can actually go see and enjoy why they paid for!! Or at least offer money back to those who can't go!

The racce was to run Sunday dew to mother nature it was but off till Tuesday most fans always plain in a extra day but in this cause the extra day was a Monday and it was a lost also I guest I lost my money onthe four tickets that I paired 59.00 dollars I think in the future madscar should have this race on Saturday night that way in case of a rain out you would have Sunday and a Monday and I think most fans would intertain that ideal better I heard a lot of bitter words on my way out of the track that Sunday night

I was there, Waited til official announcement. Was not able to attend Tuesday. Will be there next year. Worst hotdogs I have ever eaten.

Never saw race as it rained and was rescheduled to Tuesday. Had to work that day so spent $200 for tickets we could not use. Nascar should allow individuals to purchase insurance for instances like this.

Can't control the weather but my seat was good, AMS is a great place to watch a race. Was looking forward to my first night race.

We were rained out and three out of four of us could attend the rain date. Two other friends including a first time attendee had a blast. Cold, wet and yet a fun race.

The race could have been ran Sunday night as scheduled, ther didn't even try to run it.

The race was spectalular! Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson put on a great closing show. Some of the Best racing I have seen in a while.

It got rained out so it was not a good experience.

It would have been great if they could have run earlier Sunday, but due to the rain we were unable to attend on Tuesday! Bring back the Spring race!!!!!!!!

The race was rained out on Sunday. They rescheduled for Tuesday at 11 a.m. We'd traveled from out of town for the race and couldn't take more time off. There was not any mention of a way to recoup us.

We enjoyed the concert but hated that we had to eat $120.00 due to not being able to return on Tuesday. I understand Nascar controls this but Atlanta Motor Speedway should give a Free tshirt or something to the coustomers for having to lose this money and having to wait patiently for the race to happen. I know we dont have control over the weather but come on do something for the fans please. We are the ones who make you all hte money in the first place

Unfortunately after spending $300 on tickets and $500 on hotel rooms the rain had other plans. I enjoy the Atlanta race every year and due to the rain the race had to be rescheduled to Tuesday. With four of us there, we had to go back home Monday and were not able to go on Tuesday to the race. With this being a possibility at any race, a suggestion may be for future tickets to be at a discounted rate for those not able to stay for the postponed race. We ended up staying in the hotel room and playing cards. I would have to say that it was the most expensive card game I have ever played ($800 for tickets and hotel).

It would nice if I could actually review the event, but the truth is that me nor the people that went with me were able to attend the re-scheduled race. My group and I planned for the Labor Day weekend event since last year when we thoroughly enjoyed the race. We were EXTREMELY disappointed that this year, we did not have the same experience. Instead, we wasted money on travel, hotel rooms, and tickets on an event that could have happened late Sunday. Little to no rain fell during the time that the race would have been started Sunday after 10:30pm. In fact, the weather seemed far worse on Tuesday yet the race still ran. Yes, I understand that weather is something that can not be controlled. However, I do feel as though the wrong choice was made as far as the re-scheduling. We are now stuck with tickets that we will not be reimbursed for and what was ultimately a wasted weekend. It will be very difficult to convince myself to plan on attending next year's Atlanta race

I think it stunk that the Nascar race was rescheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Most people had to get back to work and their children back to school. I lost a lot of money and am hesitant to participate again.

Although the rain put somewhat of a damper on the Cup race, AMS is always a pretty good track and it was still a really exciting race. The decision to reschedule the race 2 days away was a great decision, rather than try to race the next day and have everyone show up the next day only to be rained out and postponed again. The only thing that was annoying was waiting 2 hours for the trucks to dry the track right as it started raining again, I think the drying should have began sooner than it did.

Tailgate was fun. Got rained out and moved to Tues. so we couldn't stay. Was planning to camp, paid for a spot, but when the race was moved to Tues.we had to leave.

Why aren't we reimbursed at least something for a rained out event that was rescheduled for two days later! I understand it was a weather problem but AMS certainly made money that day for concessions etc
