About

The Eagles possess one of the most storied careers in all of music. The California group, formed in 1971, have sold more than 200 million albums globally with six releases reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 through their final studio album, Long Road Out of Eden (2007). The band also holds the record for best-selling album in the United States with the 1976 compilation Their Greatest Hits 1971-1977 certified 38-times platinum. Their immediate follow-up Hotel California, released later that year, ranks third on the U.S. all-time best-seller list at 26-times platinum. The Eagles made an instantaneous imprint on rock music with their indelible 1972 debut single “Take It Easy,” and over the years released five No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 including “Best of My Love,” “Hotel California” and “Heartache Tonight.” The band earned six Grammys throughout their career, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Founded by Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, Glenn Frey and Randy Meisner, the Eagles have forged ahead as a live outfit featuring Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill and Deacon Frey.

They were amazing! Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit were incredible. The whole show was just unbelievable. I have seen many concerts in my life.... but this one topped the charts.... And..... the fact that we were permitted to take pictures during the concert... unheard of ....FANTASTIC!!

    Enjoyable

by Gloria on 3/20/24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

They were great to see! All great songs, they are masters of the guitar or should I say guitars. They change pretty much with every song they played.

    Excellent

by Cathy F on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Fantastic!! The Eagles NEVER disappoint! They take their audience's age into consideration as far as their needs & ability to move especially since the age range was 40-70 yrs in attendance & that is really appreciated when the young ones want to stay standing all the time to dance & us older folks aren't able to see through them & therefore stand up with them. Young ones, you'll be in our shoes very quickly, so please don't complain.

Incredible performance. Just perfect. Of the 3 shows I’ve been to, the final one was the best.

    Frustrated by obstruction

by kirky on 3/20/24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The Eagles are awesome and would see them again and again! However Scotiabank did not plan this one to well as far as the obstruction in the middle of the stage where the main screen was... the big lighting system hung right in the middle and for those to the side high level, you could not see the screen at all which left the only option of watching the small screen on the side. Very frustrating.

    The Eagles

by KB on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

This was a bucket list concert for me. I have always wanted to see The Eagles, but never had the opportunity. I’m so glad I was able to attend The Long Goodbye Tour in Charlotte. I have been going to concerts since 1981, and this was by far the best show I have ever seen!

The Eagles incl. Vince Gill and Deacon Frye were amazing!

by Michelle on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Typical Eagles..Consistently great! The musicians gave it their all. I saw them in Charlotte at the Spectrum Center. They have a very tasteful and classy back ground for their show. Very enjoyable and entertaining. The only negative was the sound that was bouncing off the bleachers in front of the group. That, at times, was a little annoying. I don't know if it were their sound people or just the way the venue is shaped. Either way, If you have never seen the Eagles you are truly missing out!

An Incredible 50 Year Run Ends with a Bang!

by Henry K. on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

I had the pleasure of seeing The Eagles on their Long Goodbye tour in Charlotte. I first saw them on their original Hotel California tour in Landover, MD in 1977. My life was flashing in front of my eyes the entire night. Truly the end of an Era. Thank you Don, Joe, Timothy, and Sam, etc. Special thanks to Dylan and Vince! Glenn and Randy would be so proud! It was a night I will never forget and will be forever grateful. BLESS YOU ALL!!!

The Eagles in Charlotte and Raleigh

    by hulagirl7173 on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

I've now seen The Eagles twice, both in RDU and CLT, and they never disappoint. They still sound amazing after all these years. Deacon Frye looks and sounds just like his dad, and is an excellent fit. Vince Gill also does an amazing job, and sounds great. The Doobie Brothers opened in RDU, and Vince did an acoustic set in CLT because of Steely Dan not being there for either date due to illnes and a family emergency. Would've liked to have seen them, but life happens. Glad they're ok. I love that The Eagles just come on stage and play for two solid hours - no fluff, no huge stage sets so no time consuming flip, no pyro, just them. They don't need any of that. Their music speaks for itself. It was also great to see their personalities when they were speaking - Don Henley is quietly funny, Don Felder is hilarious, and what can one say about Joe Walsh, funny as the day is long. I'm normally a metal/hard rock girl, but I'm a lifelong fan of them, and their concerts have easily been the best I have ever attended (sorry Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Def Leppard, close seconds now). I highly recommend that if you get the chance to go see them, even if you're just a casual fan, go. You won't be disappointed.

    Eagles were awesome,

by Seats on far left next to stage had been moved. Was not able to sit in seats I paid alot of money for. on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Also, I have a compressed disc in Lower back and fibromyalgia, and I could not get a handicap seat where I could have brought my transfer chair. Climbing up and down the stairs just to go to the bathroom was excruciating. I could have enjoyed the Eagles concert much more had I not been in such pain.

    Best concert ever

by Juston on 3/20/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The venue, the sound, the artists, the lighting, the background was spot on. Very well done. It was loud enough to hear but not so loud that you couldn’t hear the lyrics and the performance.

    Greatest Concert Ever!

by flanders on 3/19/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

Now, I haven't been to thousands of concerts, but the Eagles' performance in March in Charlotte, NC was absolutely fantastic! The sound was great for a large venue and the show itself was all that anyone could ask for. Everyone on stage was outstanding with great energy. It truly was the BEST concert I have ever attended.

    Bucket List concert

by MamaD on 3/19/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

I have been a fan for 50 years...and this was my first Eagles concert. Positives: Vince Gill did a great job opening the show. The Eagles were as good as they have ever been! Negatives: t-shirts ($50-$60) and drinks were way too expensive. Not much opportunity to stand up and dance, and when we did, the people behind us complained. I would love to see them again in a smaller, more intimate venue.

Twice in six months is disappointing

by Meho on 3/19/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

2nd time in six months that we paid to sed Steely Dan and the Eagles a D Avon it didn’t happen . I love Vince Gill But using a band member as an opening act seems like consumer rip off. Didsapointed

    The Eagles

by Michelle on 3/19/24Spectrum Center - Charlotte

The Eagles were fantastic!! It was one of, if not the best, concert I have ever seen!! I do t know why we were not told that Steely Dan would not be opening until time for them to come on stage. I feel like we should have known that before the concert.
