Dwight Yoakam Tickets

I was disappointed because we came to see the Mavricks and did not find out til we got there that thet had to cancel. I believe it was because of the lead singer undergoing treatment for cancer. We pray for his recovery. What bothered me was that we were not told and had payed over 200 each for 4 tickets. Also whne Dwight Yoakuam came to the stage, people started to croud up to the front. Even though we were in the 5th row on the side, it made it really hard for us to see. This did not happen with the lead in group. We probably will not be returning to this venue.

This is the second time that I've seen Dwight Yoakam this year and both concerts were really excellent. My wife and I traveled 5 hours to see this one. Yes, Dwight is in his 60's, but he still possess a great voice and enjoyable stage presence. Does he jump around like he did in his 30's? No, but he'd not stiff either, having exhibited a very nice stage presence and his voice is still excellent to boot. As for his band, they are seasoned Pros and as tight as any group you'll see out there touring. Their level of performance was second to none. Both concerts were in excess of two hours long, pressing 2.5 hours, including the encore. Moreover, they both started at a very intense, non-stop level of performance. Looking around the packed house, I saw nothing but huge smiles of enjoyment one everyone's face. My wife and I are huge fans, being frequent listeners of this SiriusXM "Dwight Yoakam/s Bakersfield Beat."Ironically, one of my grandsons, who turned 18 on they of concert, begged me to video him doing "Guitar's, Cadillacs."No fooling! I suspect that he and his twin bother will want to attend a future concert, if Dwight is back in our State.

Great concert. Definitely worth seeing Dwight. Would love to see him again, very entertaining

The concert was fantastic he is a great performer. I do not suggest this venue though. We had 3rd row seats dead center, great view. However, they allowed people to stand up at the gated area some of those people were not from that section and they totally blocked the view which was disappointing. Could not get a picture or video without those people's heads and arms blocking the view. Standing up is one thing I get that, but allowing people from other areas to stand up front like that was disappointing.

Dwight and the band sounded great! Good mix of new songs and classics, voice sounded great… the guys still got it!

I was very unhappy with the seat that I was assigned. The event was moved from the Santander arena to the Santander Performing Arts Center. I purchased a premium ticket for the original venue and the seat they moved me to at the performing arts center was behind an elevated section where I couldn't see Dwight Yoakam at all (I could see the base player off to one side). The music was great though. It would have been a 5-star event if I could have seen the performance.

The show was as great as I expected. Dwight mixed in some new material and included as many of the classics as he could fit in. He did some great storytelling in between too. He closed his encore with his classic cover of Elvis’, “Suspicious Minds.” Can’t ask for a better performance. The Mavericks had to cancel due to very unfortunate circumstances, but the opening band was absolutely fantastic! Great time at a great venue. Perfect weekend event!

He started with his new songs but ended with the old ones. He even did an encore!
