Dua Lipa on Tour

One listen to Dua Lipa's rich voice sitting atop all of that bright pop and body-moving beatwork and you already know: this English singer and songwriter is brimming with earned confidence. She's dominated stages everywhere from the esteemed Glastonbury Festival to Singapore's Formula One Grand Prix. Lipa's early days found her holding her own — typically strutting in front of a band and dancers — opening for stadium-worthy acts like Bruno Mars and Coldplay. But she also thrills enrapt audiences headlining her own arena runs, such as her 2020 Future Nostalgia Tour celebrating her disco-kissed but thoroughly modern album of the same name. Lipa's catalog comes to vivid life onstage as she performs a thrilling mix of A-list collaborations with her era's biggest DJs — Diplo, Mark Ronson, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix — and original songs that combine highly emotive verses, super catchy hooks and a modern yet timeless production that may set trends for years to come.

Dua Lipa in Concert

Dua Lipa was born in England to a father who was a lead singer in a Kosovar rock band and a mother who worked in tourism. Fittingly enough, while the family moved around a bit, music and performance were constants — she took classes at the Sylvia Young Theatre School as a child, and turned to YouTube as an outlet when the Lipas relocated to Kosovo, sharing covers of her favorite songs by P!nk, Nelly Furtado, Christina Aguilera and even Chance the Rapper. At 15, she felt destiny calling and got a flat with a friend in London, returning to Sylvia Young while (soon) picking up modeling and hostessing gigs in an effort to fund her growing studio habit and network with people in music. Lipa's faith paid dividends when she inked a deal with Warner Records in 2015 — the label was in need of a major female pop star and her demos showed that promise. Over the next couple of years and several singles, Lipa set records on UK and Euro charts until she crossed the pond with "New Rules," a deliciously clever and empowering song about hooking up. Her 2017 self-titled debut included that radio-conquering dance banger alongside romantically powered pop, hip-hop inflected grooves and one lovely ballad ("Homesick") featuring an uncredited appearance by Coldplay's Chris Martin. A series of one-off collaborations paved the way for her disco and "dancercise"-inspired sophomore 2020 album, Future Nostalgia, led by another international chart-topper, "Don't Start Now."

    Awesome Throwback

    by C. S. on 1/24/23

This show felt like a complete throwback to the pure pop adrenaline of the 80’s. The set list was clever, and even from our seats at the back of the house, the stage setup and overall energy made the concert incredibly enjoyable. I can’t wait to see how she follows up “Future Nostalgia!”

    Amazing

    by M. S. on 1/23/23

Dua is hands down the best concert performer out there. The entire show had seamless choreography and gave off a old school disco feel. Went twice this past year and can’t wait to see her again. I would definitely travel long distance as well. Worth it!

    Stunning -

    by Mikee on 12/13/22

Capital one arena 3.2.22- Got in line Hours before the show for general admission. The line was in S-curves. When the doors opened, whoever in the security just released the ropes and people race to the door. I waited in Line Early and got pushed back. The people along with my line told one of the security that those people who you got in first was suppose to be behind our line and they are not in the VIP/bracelets line. She just responded "oh okay". I don't wanna ruin the moment and just went on. Dua's show was so stunning. I went to another one after this. Just can't get enough. Future nostalgia.

I got lucky and got in line right as the presale happened and got the tickets I wanted right away. It was affordable, and I still had the time of my life. I knew every song, I danced with everyone in my row. It was a moment to be with everyone enjoying the same music. Thanks Dua for creating such a fun and safe atmosphere

I saw two shows in February and March here in NY and they were sooo very good that I would go to her concert every day of the week if I could. Honestly. At least I have the great memories to relive over and over again. I am just totally obsessed!

CONCERT amazing! Security and signage insufficient

    by Pspe87 on 8/4/22Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

CONCERT WAS AMAZING! First of all. That was no issue at all everything was smooth sailing and all the acts went on successfully with no issues. A few things I had issues with: -Security didn't even glance at my bag (unauthorized fireworks let off at the concert on the floor at the end of the concert by a concert goer-could have turned out WORSE)-poor poor security. I had early access and they barely even spent a few seconds looking or checking...I questioned this right away. -Early access VIP area-Lack of signage and none of the staff earlier in the day knew where we had to line up other than the security inside the MLSE office luckily. The staff kept shifting the lineup to move those temporarily removeable barriers to create a line-up. -The tickets had Gate A or B for most of us in early access and yet we lined up and were let in at C. -I had to pick my ticket up at "will call" but was not told until I got to the ticket counter that my ticket was actually being held at the VIP section and I didn't actually have to leave my place in line (luckily I had someone hold it while I went).

Dua is perfect, her production was meh

by Davey on 7/31/22Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Dua was perfect in every way - great vocals, her dancing is muchhh better now, incredible set list - she’s amazing. the production though, was meh. the screens were so small, if you sat at the top level you could barely see the show. every other stadium show i’ve gone to has had much bigger viewing screen for audiences who sit high up. also there was no set, barely any props, — all that sucked and it shouldn’t for a top pop star show. do better production team! Dua you are perfect!
