About

Dropkick Murphys  proudly  remain  Boston's  rock  'n'  roll  underdogs  turned  champions.  Since  1996,  the  boys  have created the kind of music that's meant to be chanted at last call, in packed arenas, and during the fourth quarter, third period,  or  ninth  inning  of a comeback rally. Their celebrated discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts (2021's Turn Up That Dial, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory, Signed and Sealed in Blood, Going Out In Style), along with 2005's gold-selling The Warrior's Code featuring the near double platinum classic "I'm Shipping Up To Boston." Whether you caught a legendary gig at The Rathskeller (The Rat) under Kenmore Square, found the band by taking the T to Newbury Comics to cop Do Or Die in '98, discovered them in Martin Scorsese's Academy Award-winning The Departed, or saw 'em throw down at Coachella (or one of hundreds of other festivals), you've become a part of their extended family. Dropkick Murphys' music has generated half-a-billion streams, they've quietly moved 8 million-plus units worldwide and the band has sold out gigs on multiple continents. In 2020, the band was one of the first  to  embrace  streaming  performances,  starting  with  their Streaming  Up  From  Boston St.  Patrick's  Day  virtual performance. It was followed by last year's landmark Streaming Outta Fenway livestream, which drew more than 5.9 million viewers and held the #3 spot on Pollstar's "Top 2020 Livestreams" chart. Dropkick Murphys St. Patrick's Day Stream 2021...Still Locked Down, was #1 on Pollstar's Livestream chart for the week ending March 22, 2021, logging over 1 million views. Dropkick Murphys return September 30 with their first-ever all-acoustic album, This Machine Still Kills  Fascists (Dummy  Luck  Music  /  [PIAS]),  followed  by  their  first-ever  seated  theater  tour  kicking  off  in  late October. This Machine Still Kills Fascists breathes musical life into mostly unpublished lyrics by the legendary Woody Guthrie, curated for the band by Woody's daughter Nora Guthrie.

    The band was amazing, however…

by Lulu on 3/11/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

Had an amazing time! The Scratch, Pennywise and Dropkick were stellar. My only issue was the crowd surfing. Even after the bad basically asked guests NOT to do it, people did it anyway. So I spent the majority of the shot looking over my shoulder or huffing a drunk person over my head. It was disrespectful of those doing it, and completely took away from an otherwise, amazing show. Will I go to another show? Oh yes. Will I “accidentally” drop a crowd surfer? Maaaaybe. Mosh pit away, just don’t crowd surf.

    Lancaster Convention Center Needs Help

by Avoid Lancaster on 3/10/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

The Good: Dropkicks put on an awesome show! The Bad: The venue is probably great for an insurance conference, but Lancaster, and their convention center were woefully unprepared for this show. We stood in line for over an hour to get into the venue and missed the entire Pennywise set. I’ve never waited so long to get into a show. There was one entrance and one line to get through security and have your ticket scanned (the TSA would’ve done a better job). The venue is not setup for concerts, at least not concerts with a popular headliner. Not enough bathrooms, the line for the concessions were well into the audience area….just a poor experience. The Dropkicks put on a killer show, but I’d think twice before heading to Lancaster for a show.

Band was great. Venue was not.

by Sleepycarl on 3/9/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

Dropkick Murphys were great. The venue was horrible, took forever to get in and missed opening acts. There were also not enough restrooms.

Drop kick Murphys, Pennywise, and the Scratch were an awesome match up. All the bands were great. The sound setup was perfect for the hall. Won’t hesitate to see them again.

    Loved it

by ST on 3/9/24Packard Music Hall - Warren

Dropkick Murphys crushed it! From the opening haunting intro song all the way through they delivered. I didn't realize how good the lead singer's voice was live. Would go again in a heartbeat.

    The best—ever

by Yellow Ledbetter on 3/9/24Packard Music Hall - Warren

Been going to shows my whole life. This was, by far, the best show I’ve ever seen. Seriously. So much talent and energy. I will go see the Dropkick Murphys again and again and again.

    Wow, see them now

by Ben on 3/9/24Packard Music Hall - Warren

First time seeing them, sadly. They've been on my list for a decade now and finally got tickets. I was blown away by how good the overall show was, The Scratch was amazing, possibly the best opener I've ever seen. Dropkick played a large setlist, variety of material, and the crowd in Warren, OH showed up and laid it all out there, which helps the experience. My only regret is not seeing them years sooner, but happy to get another band crossed off my list. I'll be back next time they come for sure!

    Dropkick at Freedom Hall Lancaster

by Ep on 3/9/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

Dropkick Murphys was great! As far as Pennywise and The Scratch could not tell you. Took over an hour in line to get into the venue. I don’t know what the issue was but it was insane. Very disappointed with entry into Freedom Hall. Honestly will never go there again! Rating is 5 Stars for Dropkick only!

    Great Music but Horrible Venue

by MamaByrd3 on 3/8/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

The venue was absolute sh**. The show was overcrowded, oversold, and people were passing out left and right. People need to learn how to enjoy music without watching through their cellphones! Would have been a GREAT show had it been at the old Chameleon. DKM & Pennywise, always a pleasure!

    Horrible Venue

by Andy on 3/8/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

There was one line to get into the venue. It took more than an hour to get into the building. I missed the opening act. The acoustics are poor.

    A Rowdy shitstompin time

by Miss D on 3/8/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

If it’s March it must be Dropkick Murphys time! Great show! Lots of fun. Took a long time to get in through security so missed most of Pennywise.

    1st Time

by Snow on 3/8/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

I live in Lancaster. This was the first time I ever saw DM. They were great. I go to Irish concerts all of the time. Worst outside line I have ever experienced. 1 hour wait no matter what time you get there.

    Not the greatest

by Candyo666 on 3/8/24Freedom Hall / Lancaster Convention Center - Lancaster

I’ve seen these bands multiple times now and this was probably the worse show. Venue was really the issue. No organization for entry. Missed the first band and only caught part of Pennywise. Acoustics were just ok. Multiple lines for drinks yet it took 20+ min to get through. We were staying at the adjoined hotel to the venue and couldn’t get into show through it, the line was RIDICULOUS. Love the bands, just wont go back to this venue.
