Started 22 minutes late. Humor getting the "party" started was offensive. We left within 15 minutes. That is not entertainment! We were looking forward to a fun evening..... Very poor attendance....empty seats everywhere. Unusual for SunCoast to have such poor quality of entertainment?
I loved every moment of this show...oops Party! Dixie was phenomenal! If this comes to your town, don’t miss it!!
Took my wife to see Dixie's Tupperware Party for mothers day gift .I haven't heard her laugh this much in a while . We had a great time . The interaction with the audience was worth the price of admission. If Dixie comes back we would go see it again It was a heck of a lot of fun
A ton of fun. We were laughing the entire time. Dixie is great at quick humor, ad-libbing at times. We all really liked the touching 'message' that came through near the end. I wasn't sure what to expect with this show - but it turned out to be a GREAT time. The crowd was very diverse so the show appeals to all ages. Highly recommended!
A friend of ours recommended we see Dixie's Tupperware Party. We were not disappointed. The funniest parts were when she brought up people from the audience. You never know what you're going to end up with when you pull an audience member up on the stage. Dixie turned each situation into a ROTFL experience! We would go see this again!
It was hilarious and I learned some new things about Tupperware. Plus I got to buy Tupperware!
Funny, but didn't care for some of the language or the alcohol, even if it was a prop.
Great evening out. The audience participation made it even better!
It was a very funny and uplifting show. Dixie must make a ton of extra cash selling her Tupperware with all her unique uses for the different items. She will probably own the company in no time. Even though she must have been tired after her one-woman show...she didn't seem to stop for even a second...she was very gracious after the show was over. She spent lots of time in the lobby visiting with members of the audience and posing for pictures. I have a picture of Dixie and me with my two daughters that we all love.
It was very entertaining I laughed with abandon. Liked the serious moments,it felt like a friend.
Great performance! Laughed a lot! Would recommend Dixie to anyone....wished it would have lasted longer. Only bad thing was it was our first time to this theater and the address is not very clear when purchasing tickets. Thought is was at the Civic Center. Had to run 8 blocks to get there in time.
Laughed for the whole performance! Funny but had a message too!
This show was great!! We loved it!!! She was so good at going with the flow.
I went because most reviews I read were positive. I guess I can see the appeal of an off color low brow person in drag if someone was used to the usually tame and tepid Midwestern Tupperware parties, however, this was not for me. Between the crass jokes and rampant commercialism, I was ready to leave. Jim
We went to see this expecting to LAUGH after hearing her on the radio... was NOT disappointed! We laughed so hard that we cried. I would see this again in a heartbeat! LOVED it! - If someone is expecting to be able to take young kids to this or that it is "family oriented" - it is NOT appropriate!!!
I laughed through the entire show and loved every minute but this is an adult show with swear words, adult jokes and lots of references to sex. If any of these topics offend you, you will leave offended.
Laughing through the whole performance! And all the way home!
the show was great, a little politly incorrect, but funny as hell, not for play house snobs, more for working class people.would defenitely see again.
Funniest thing I've seen in awhile! I would highly recommend it to everyone but it is vulgar for some people.
