  • A Relaxing outing with my family

by Ulfr on 1/26/24McCaw Hall - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My first time watching this concert, loved hearing a professional orchestra playing most of my all time favorite tracks though out the Final Fantasy series, I'll likely see them again with my parents when ever they'll tour through Seattle again.

  • 3rd time in a row seeing them live plan to see them again

by Distant Worlds for Life! on 1/24/24McCaw Hall - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Distant worlds three times in about the last decade. My love for them outlasted one relationship and now into a marriage. I took me my husband and my mother in law to see it. Even though MIL has never played she loved it. If I have any complaints it was the merch table was pretty empty when I walked in the venue

  • Fantastic!!!

  • Horrible , disrespectful to FF10&12 fun

by Fun on 1/23/24McCaw Hall - SeattleRating: 1 out of 5

Jan 21 2024 concert in seattle made us so sad and upset , Conductor was terrible , making disrespectful comments to certain FF title He said to audience that Japanese hq forced them to play FF10 score but there are great score after this He really failed to make decent concert environment . They did not play 12 score at all . Too many 14 The audience talk louder while music was playing All the time !! Also taking videos using Flash light !!! No staff did not stop Music score choice was terrible Too much FF14 MMO and they did not play most of great titles ( Aerith theme , FF6 main Theme , None of Main theme song, only 1 FF10 and FF16 ) FF7 they played wired Honey Bee song The game images showed up on screen were terrible ( they even did not edit except Chocobo song ) so i needed to close my eyes . When they played some vocal ( chorus ) orchestra sound was too loud or chorus was too weak to hear well. It was really terrible and ruined our Final Fantasy memories.

  • An exhilarating experience.

I grew up listening to Uematsu's 8-bit music in Final Fantasy. Hearing a live orchestra perform Uematsu's music is a beautiful nostalgic experience.

The show was great and the environment was neat. I would have like to hear a few other scores from Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasty 6 but it’s understandable

As amazing as I would expect from FF music and some few unexpected scores. Choir was also amazing.

Final Fantasy was a large part of my youth, as well as creating shared memories with my siblings. We got to hear some of our favorite tracks from way back when come to life in such a beautiful way. We will forever get tickets to this show when it comes back to Seattle.

  • Stunning and Positive Experience

by Galahad on 1/22/24McCaw Hall - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My partner and I came to this because it was a perfect combination of our interests in live music and gaming - even better because specifically it was a symphony and FF. What was great is that my fav's are 7, 8, 9, 10-2, 12-2 and her's are 4, 5, 6, 7, 15, 16 and they played scores from across the series so we both got to hear music that brought back so many memories. The artists, the chorus, the conductor, the guitar soloists were all phenomenal and the cut scenes they played really brought us into the experience. Not only was the symphony great, the attendees were also a mix of gamers that were polite and considerate to the artists as well as other attendees. And just...One-Winged Angel....Wow!

  • A phenomenal experience

    by Will B on 1/22/24McCaw Hall - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I attend this concert every year they come. Unfortunately, with the pandemic many shows were cancelled. We were so excited to see it return and it was even more magical that I could have expected. New songs and medleys, great seats, smooth and quick lines. The conductor was funny and engaging and the orchestra was beautiful and skilled. It was a fantastic experience and I'm grateful to have Distant Worlds return to Seattle!

by Brendan on 6/28/22Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

After having the FFVII Remake orchestra rescheduled six different times only to have it cancelled two days before showtime, this show delivered on the anticipation. Set list was incredible, parking was simple, and no hicccups
