  • Not like how it used to be

by Jill on 11/16/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

We have gone to DoI for 7 consecutive years and I think this may be the last of it. It just feels like they don’t even care anymore. The entire experience felt sloppy. Please hire more employees. Here are my feedback: 1) Disallowing us to bring in water (especially for children) is appalling. It all comes down to $$$ and how much this event is profiting. I was so upset when the security person instructed us to pour out our waters. 2) Hundreds/thousands of people were all over the place. It would’ve been nice to have more employees present to help guide people where to go. 3) Let’s admit it - this facility is too small for the amount of people coming through. The wait line for the bathrooms was ridiculous. 4) The prices are OUTRAGEOUS. $15 for cotton candy and the amount inside the bag was the size of my hand. 5) The emcee/ host was annoying. Didn’t play the part well. 6) Your ice skating performers were amateurs and lacked he skills to perform in such a high-caliber event. All in all, you need to invest in more employees and performers and charge LESS on your foods and souvenirs. Disney profits enough.

  • Great show all around

First time taking my 6yr old daughter to any show. She was completely enthralled the entire time. Great combination of skating, acrobatics, and storytelling.

  • Ehh

by Sara on 11/16/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

It was a cute show. Mary Poppins threw me off as my kid doesn’t even know who that is. Got in line during the intermission to buy popcorn and took way too long. Show already started when i got back. Gave my husband his popcorn and he said it was too salty to eat. So i missed part of the show and wasted money because we ended up throwing away a whole bag of popcorn. Also saw someone complaining about their pretzel being rick hard. I was going to buy one, glad I didn’t.

by MT on 11/16/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I had no idea Disney on ice shows were this good! I assumed it would be entertaining, but we not expecting this. They lit the ice on fire, had actual snow and were flying around the ice! This was truly spectacular. And the skating/dancing was so good. The costumes were beautiful. Everything about it was so good.

  • Incredible!

by MandieB on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The entire show was amazing and seeing the look on my nieces face through out the show made me feel like the worlds best Aunt. After the show I asked my niece how much she liked it and if she’d like to go again next year. Her answer was “yes, one thousand million percent”

  • Not as entertaining

by Hollywood on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

We’ve been going almost every year for the last 8 years, and I was a little disappointed this year. There was a lot less props, each scene with the different characters was very short. I would of love less characters if it meant more from each storyline. I also didn’t like that most of the songs weren’t the classics we’re use to singing along to. One more complaint was that the digital part of the photo package didn’t work for us, or the groups before us. That was a waste of $35.

  • Fantastic

by Jillster on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

It was so amazing. The tricks and acrobatics were awesome. The “Whole New World” number had my niece’s jaw drop in amazement.

  • Mmmmm

by Thewindrock on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

It was one of least favorite Disney on ice. I thought the road theme was kind of hokey.

  • Exciting

by Maria on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I think I was more excited than my own kids, nieces, and nephews. It was super entertaining and so creative. This would be my second time watching Disney on ice. Would definitely be watching again next year.

by Tim on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing cast and amazing effects. All the children in the auditorium were mesmerized. Have to admit, So was I. These productions are expensive, But every cent was on that stage. Beautiful costumes, very talented cast, and the lighting effects were definitely DISNEY all the way!

by Tina on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

This show kept my 3yr my 4 yr granddaughter entertained the whole program ! Well worth my money …..can’t wait for the next time they are in town!

  • A couple adjustments could have made it a lot better

    by MomOf2 on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 3 out of 5

The skaters were amazing and the costumes were great! We will go back but a couple adjustments could make the experience so much better. First the intro was way too long and not interesting enough to catch little kids attention, second the opening act was Mary Poppins which I love but again, little kids didn’t get it. Last, the sound was way too loud, you could hardly understand what any of the characters were saying because the muffled and echoed because it was too loud. My 3 year old does not have any sensory issues and has been to multiple other shows and was upset most of the show by the volume.

  • Excellent show! My 1yr old boy was entranced!

by DPR on 11/15/22Veterans Memorial Coliseum - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

The Disney on ice show was very entertaining. My children loved all the different characters and theme songs. We can’t wait to go again!
