This was one of the best Disney on Ice shows I've ever seen! It was wonderful. I have two girls 4 and 1 and they both enjoyed themselves so much!
My son, 4 years old enjoyed it but my husband and I thought the "storyline" was a little weak. Also, there were commercials for The Princess and the Frog - a little too much self-promotion. And the prices of the souvenirs at IZOD Arena were outrageous!!!
Really cute show. Brought my son (1st grade) and daughter (kindergarden). They really enjoyed it. We would have liked to have been closer. Our seats were on the side of the ice, so we really missed being able to see the front of the stage...where the show included video. Would have really preferred the Christmas segment said "Merry Christmas" not "Happy Holiday's" ...the characters were wearing Christmas colors and Goofy was dressed as Santa. It is what it is...a Christmas routine. That being said, why not also have a "Happy Hanukkah" segment too...so as to be inclusive but not offend the people who celebrate Christmas.
celebration needs to be more in detail: - 4 of July (independence day was not included) - new years could be included with a count down. - sound was poor - bearly could hear the dialogues. - seats at I-zod are extremely narrow by the legs, night mares when somebody needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the show. - prices for gifts and themes souvenirs are too high.
I went with my friend and with our 4 yrs old and 7 yrs old daughter... They're so mesmerized with the colors and how the characters perform. They loved when all the princesses and their prince were performing. But, there was an instance when the kids got bored, the part where Mickey and the Brooms were on stage and dancing. I think it was way too long... Overall we enjoyed it and the kids just kept talking about it.
i think overall it was a very cute show and my daughter had a great time... however, what i cannot stomach is the last part of the show.. the "holiday" celebration.. the constant "happy holiday"... is it really that hard or offensive to say merry christmas.. what i don't get is, everything was green and red (christmas color) goofy came down the chimney dressed as santa (santa is a charachter associated with christmas) so why is it so hard to just say Merry Christmas .. why cause their might have been 2 kids in the audience that don't celebrate christmas so god forbid we should say Merry Christmas... it really is annoying and it's things like that that will keep me thinking twice about taking my kids to see these shows...
Very Nice for Family and kids, wonderful job. Good Seats for good Price. hard workers, Kids were very happy and i have 3 teens!
What a great show. The best I've seen so far! A must see!
I've attending multiple Disney on Ice performances and they still continue to amaze me everytime. This is my 4 year old's second performance and she was just as amazed as the first time she saw it. Only one word truely describes the experience.. MAGICAL. A must see for families with small children!
Took our daughter to her first Disney on Ice show, and we all had a great time. The seats we picked were floor level to the rink,so our view was fantastic. The skating was amazing, and my daughter was mesmerized when all the princesses came out. The special effects were great, no annoying loud noises or fireworks to scare little kids, very kid friendly yet technical enough for adults to appreciate. We were definitely impressed and glad we went. The look on my daughter's face as Mickey and MInnie waved to her was priceless. This will not be our last Disney on Ice show, that's for sure!
The show was amazing...My son and I enjoyed it very much.
From the opening act to the finale, this show was fantastic. The costumes and sets were remarkable. My only regret was that it had to end. My granddaughter also enjoyed it. I would recommend this to anyone with children.
The show was great! Anyone who loves the Disney Princesses and the classic stories will definitely enjoy this show. I was more excited than the kids I brought with me. The skating was great and the kids had a blast singing along to the music.
My husband and I brought our four year old daughter to opening night. The tickets were a great deal. Even though we were up close, there is no bad seat in the entire place. Our daughter LOVED IT! This is the perfect show for everyone because it covers all of Disney from Mickey Minnie and the gang to the princesses and all of the Villians. Even the new princess Tiana was there. Bottom line...A MUST SEE FOR EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY!
The show was really nice! My favorite part was when all the princesses came out to dance! Worst part was the halloween celebration which was way too long. The finale was great and all in all my daughter loved the show!
This show was a lot of fun to watch and engaging. The kids were interacting with Mickey during the show...we had a wonderful time!
We Love the show .... Had a wonderfull time with my family ....My 4 year old came out of the show and she shouted....." Mom , Mom, I loved it can wwe come back tomorrow........Please...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My 10 year old love the part where Minnie went to china the lighted tree was her favorite will defently go again. P.S We went to see the Radio CIty X-Mas show and I would see Disney on ice better!!!!!! Keep up the fabulous work !!!
My 2 daughters, my Mother and I had a girls night out to see Disney on Ice. The girls couldn't take their eyes off the skaters and my mother (who has not attended a Disney event in many years!) was thrilled to experiencing such an exciting show. Disney has once again allowed my family and I to have such a memorable night! My daughters were quick to tell me that "the next time we come we can let all the boys come too!" Thank you Disney!
The show opened with a good number introducing all the characters and a fast paced chase scene, but then it got very slow and drawn out over three holidays and a long scene performed by the dancing brooms. My son actually started falling asleep during the Valentines Day part with every princess getting her own song, and then was scared during the Halloween scene. After the intermission, the show got much better and the holidays went by much quicker. Most of the great characters (Lilo and Stitch, Toy Story gang) came after the intermission.
Disney On Ice : Let's Celebrate was a fun night out. The Halloween part was quite scary for little ones with all the villains and Jack Skellington racing around. There were some characters my children didn't know because they are too young for it. It was a good time, but I'm definitely glad I didn't pay full price.
