  • Magical event!

    by Kysmommy85 on 2/8/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5

It was nice. I purchased the $15 tickets and sat in row S, section 109. Perfect. I had a three year old who I did not want to take up and down the little steps and wanted to be close to the restroom. Went on opening night and it was not too packed. About a 15-20 intermission but technically, the show was not even two hours long. This show is better for younger children. There were older kids there that seemed unenthused and restless. Dress your child up! We stopped by the Dollar Store and purchased a tiara and princess glow stick. There are color sticks/wands and other souvenirs for sales; $12-$30. We purchased cotton candy with a crown included and a Minnie Mouse cup. Surprisingly my kid did not want a stick. Yay! But it is great to budget for those things. Parking was $10. Not all garages accepted debit so we had to use the garage on Marconi. The only thing I did not like was a lack of diversity. Mulan, Princess Tiara, Princess Jasmine, and other characters of ethnicity were not appropriately represented in my opinion. I would like for my child to be exposed to all cultures and races. However, I did not share that with her. As she enjoyed the show without noticing. Just my thoughts. All in all, a great show.

  • Not as good as previous yrs but kids still enjoyed

by KWWJ on 2/8/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

It seemed as if they were just trying to "get by" this year. Much less special effects than last year. With that said you would think there would have been more emphasis on the skating but that didn't happen either. And of course there is still the exorbitantly overpriced souvenirs.

  • Kids will love it

The show was a gift to for my youngest daughter and my granddaughter. It was a terrific show with lots of color, great music and joyful moments. It is a must see for a Disney fan no matter the age!

  • Disney on Ice was a magical experience!

We would highly recommend the show! We've seen Frozen on Ice before as well and we loved both of these events!

  • Not up to Disney standards

    by Michelle231 on 2/8/16Nationwide Arena - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5

It was an ok show, but the worst I have seen in recent years. Maybe it was because it was a week night show and not the weekend, but the characters just didn't seem to enjoy themselves. Also, they do the seasons or holidays of the year. They did Halloween and brought out a lot of villains and the main character was a ghost/zombie and it scared the heck out of my four year old. I will return probably next year to see of the show improves, but I would skip this one. Sorry Disney it just wasn't good. Also, we were sitting in the front row an. I didn't think they had the music up very high. I was straining a little at times to hear or understand the characters.

  • Disney On Ice was good

by CARamsey on 1/27/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

Not their best show - have been taking my daughter and her friend for years. They were not as excited as they have been in previous years - maybe because they had a big villan number and they are not 'into' villans. Not as entertaining as previous shows. But it was good!

This show was a lot of fun!! We took our 3 year old girl and it was a blast. She absolutely loved it and I honestly did too! I loved Disney movies growing up so this took me back to my childhood. I would definitely recommend going!

  • Disney On Ice: Let's Celebrate

    by pendletonfan1 on 1/27/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

Disney on Ice: Lets Celebrate was great. Sitting in Section 12 row 8 were great seats to view the show. My son enjoyed seeing Mickey mouse, Minnie mouse, Donald duck, Daisy duck, Goofy, Pluto, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Rex, and the 7 princes and princesses.

  • Disney on ice was a disappointment

by Anonymous on 1/27/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 2 out of 5

My 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter were not impressed. It didn't have any of the Frozen characters like we expected. It focused on all the old Disney movies and not on the new Disney movies. My kids didn't know who some of the characters were and it had mainly Mickey Mouse. Also no story line to follow. Won't be returning to this show again.

  • DOI was different this year

by StassiaH on 1/26/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

This is my 5th year attending DOI, and I wasn't very impressed. The show was really short this time and we did not understand the theme of the show. It was still fun and we will be going next year too.

  • Good performance - expected better story line

by Mommycmp on 1/26/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

All the performers were wonderful. There were so many characters that didn't seem to go together. Would have been more enjoyable with a better story line. Souvenirs were kind of expensive... Snow cones for $12 was absurd.

  • Disney on ice.. Great

    by 112214 on 1/26/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I took my son to see Disney on ice on the 23 of January. He is only 14 months but he still enjoyed the show and seeing his favorite character which was Mickey Mouse. :) I enjoyed watching the show and I like that they incorporated the kids in it too. What I didn't like is the fact that they were selling frozen things but yet the characters on frozen were not there. Why sale Elsa's wand if they won't be there.

  • Disney on Ice was good

    by Disney33 on 1/26/16Bankers Life Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

The show was good. It was extremely annoying that people came in late and obstructed our view constantly during the show because they weren't intelligent enough to read the signs indicating their seat location. Outside of that, the show was good. The Halloween portion was a little dark for our 3yr. Old, but from an adult perspective, I thought it was good. Our daughter watched in awe for all of it but the Halloween portion. I would take her back.
