Disney On Ice presents Frozen On Tour

The 2013 hit musical sensation Frozen brought Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen to the big screen, spinning the snow-covered tale of sisters Elsa and Anna while introducing anthems like "Let It Go" and "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?" to the Disney-musical canon. Disney on Ice's celebration of the movie brings the songs and story of Frozen to their natural habitat — the ice rink. Blending the leaps and twirls of figure skating with the indelible songs of Frozen and beloved Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, this Disney On Ice production is a magical journey.

The spectacle opens with a salute to Disney characters from every era, including Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, Dory from Finding Nemo, the roster of Disney Princesses, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie. From there, audiences are transported to the faraway kingdom of Arendelle, where two royal sisters, the winter-solstice-born Elsa and the summer-solstice-born Anna, grow up and then apart. Elsa, whose birthdate gave her the power to control ice and snow, eventually uses her magic to plunge Arendelle into a never-ending winter, causing chaos. Beloved characters like the snowman Olaf, the ice harvester Kristoff, and Kristoff's faithful reindeer Sven join Anna in the race to find her sister — and they meet opponents like trolls and the larger-than-life Snow Monster on their journey. Along the way, Disney On Ice's team of skaters shimmer and shine, acting out the plot and songs of Frozen while performing jumps and spins that add flair to the singalong-ready music.

With dazzling skating moves, eye-popping pyrotechnics, and the deeply felt emotions that made the movie Frozen a worldwide phenomenon, Disney On Ice presents Frozen is an exhilarating way for audiences of all ages to celebrate Disney's latest animated-musical triumph and the art of figure skating — and for families to create new traditions of their own.

    Awesome Frozen!

    by AnnaChris03182015 on 3/23/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

The Disney Frozen show is excellent! But the stage or skating ring doesn't look big enough. But anyway, we and the kids enjoyed the show. The dancers and performers did very well in the play. My daughter wants to go again.

Impossible to "Let it Go Frozen"

by Piramide on 3/23/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was awesome, although I was expecting a bit more scenario attractions. The kids were involved, but at some point shortly after the first intermission they were bored. The entire show was awesome, for adults, but since it is a show for kids, it is needed to add more to engaged the kids from begging to end. Or sale alcohol for parents to need to handle active kids ;)

Great performance even from last row...

by Malkar on 3/23/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

No matter where u sit you can see the show. Great performance. I know it happens everywhere but I think the concessions of frozen product could be a little bit cheaper on a couple items to acknowledge the parents that Can't spend $40 to spend on a toy wand.

Frozen on Ice cool for all!!

by Markhammom on 3/22/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was our (my 5 year old daughter and I) first "on ice" experience. We loved singing along to all the songs and the on ice adaptation of the movie. My daughter loved christoff's "cool" moves (back flips, jumps, etc...). Parents just watch out for the souvenirs... They are pretty pricey!!! Overall, great fun for the whole family!

    Frozen forever in my mind

by Kerryden on 3/22/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

Absolutely incredible! They took imagination to a whole new level. I assume taking Frozen the cartoon, and putting it on ice can't be easy; they made it flawless. Very creative and fullnof imagination.

    It was magical

    by Era35 on 3/22/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

I went there with my sister and our children. It was a magical surprise. Not only did the kids enjoy it, but we also felt part of that magical experience. Before the show started my 9 year-ol niece wasn't very happy to see just another kids show. But, that because the show hadn't started. She thanked us for the wonderful experience once the show was over. And of course my toddler is still talking about the show...which three days after-:) Highly recommended!

Overpriced items....especially with a 2 year old who wanted everything Elsa. Good show, good entertainment for about 1hr or so...left early since little one was overWhelmed but even with booster was too low for a 2 year old. Further having to buy a ticket for a 2 year old who could not stay engaged for 1hr 45 mins seems unfair.

    "Frozen on Ice" was awesome!

by Tootnene on 3/21/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

We really liked the costumes. It was fun singing along to the songs. Olaf & Sven were as cute as ever, and Anna & Elsa so beautiful. We loved the skating - jumps & twirls.

    It waa so so

by BigJH on 3/21/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was "okay", nothing spectacular. The production value was rather low side: props and sets were not up to par: I was very disappointed to see visible barebone "wooden" structure of Elsa's ice castle. Also everything was lipsynced. I understand, because cast can't really sing, act or talking while they are skating. So it all comes down to the skating performance and visuals presentation (sets, props, lights and effects). The skating performance was good, but again, the production value let me down. I'm waiting for the Broadway musical version of Frozen.

    Frozen spectacular

by Mckeeb on 3/21/15Rogers Centre - Toronto

Disney knows how to put on a good show. It was fun to see the Disney characters introduce Frozen. The talent eas good and the sets were great. The big snow monster was amazing. And how did the skaters ever get S en so well. Money making venture at most. The concession prices were exhorbitant and of course little kids put pressure on the parents to purchase. The hawking really put a damper on the overall experience. A great show for kids and brilliant to have it during March Break
