Disney On Ice presents Frozen On Tour

The 2013 hit musical sensation Frozen brought Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen to the big screen, spinning the snow-covered tale of sisters Elsa and Anna while introducing anthems like "Let It Go" and "Do You Want To Build a Snowman?" to the Disney-musical canon. Disney on Ice's celebration of the movie brings the songs and story of Frozen to their natural habitat — the ice rink. Blending the leaps and twirls of figure skating with the indelible songs of Frozen and beloved Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse, this Disney On Ice production is a magical journey.

The spectacle opens with a salute to Disney characters from every era, including Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, Dory from Finding Nemo, the roster of Disney Princesses, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie. From there, audiences are transported to the faraway kingdom of Arendelle, where two royal sisters, the winter-solstice-born Elsa and the summer-solstice-born Anna, grow up and then apart. Elsa, whose birthdate gave her the power to control ice and snow, eventually uses her magic to plunge Arendelle into a never-ending winter, causing chaos. Beloved characters like the snowman Olaf, the ice harvester Kristoff, and Kristoff's faithful reindeer Sven join Anna in the race to find her sister — and they meet opponents like trolls and the larger-than-life Snow Monster on their journey. Along the way, Disney On Ice's team of skaters shimmer and shine, acting out the plot and songs of Frozen while performing jumps and spins that add flair to the singalong-ready music.

With dazzling skating moves, eye-popping pyrotechnics, and the deeply felt emotions that made the movie Frozen a worldwide phenomenon, Disney On Ice presents Frozen is an exhilarating way for audiences of all ages to celebrate Disney's latest animated-musical triumph and the art of figure skating — and for families to create new traditions of their own.

    Disney on Ice Frozen

    by T. E. on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

The show was fantastic but I believe you should tell people to bring blankets or supply them. I think the price could be more affordable for others so they can come see it as well. I think the refreshments should be brought to the 300 section for people to enjoy they only served the people down below.

by kbsaunders on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

This was a wonderful family event. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it!! This was our second Disney on Ice experience and it did not disappoint. The ice skater that portrayed Anna was perfect for the role!

Paid a lot people behind us moved up closer infront of us

by Disappointed on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

I paid a lot i believe for myself and husband and our twins to see frozen. We were about 4 or 5 rows above the show. This was my now 5 year old twins birthday gift because their birthday was the following day. We noticed a family behind us and about 30 minutes after it started we saw them in front of us to the right. (There was a big section with open seats to the right of us.) I feel it was rude and unfair considering i probably paid more than them and they were closer to the action. I would have employees making sure people dont "steal" better seats in the future.

    Great Show!

by Ben, Jenna, and Levi on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Our son Levi is 3 and he had a great time. Not too expensive and free parking. With tickets , some snacks, and 1 toy we spent about 150$. The show was entertaining and not scary for his age. We will definitely be attending more Disney on Ice shows! Thanks!

    Overall experience was good

by Ken on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

cost of merchandise i believe does not have to have a 300 to 500 % markup considering ticket price and number of people attending 8 shows

I took my 5 yo daughter and she loved every minute. She sang along and was captivated the whole time. It was a great show. Prices for souvenirs and food was a little pricey but I expected that.

    Wonderful memories

    by K. J. on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Our daughter is 2 and was absolutely mesmerized by the show. It was fun, musical, lively and kept her attention for far longer than we expected. The characters were just like in her movies :) Of course, all of the merchandise and food were waaaay overpriced, but that’s to be expected nowadays. I would suggest purchasing things like light up wands prior to the show, as you can get them elsewhere for a fraction of the price. Other than that, the experience was magical and we’ll definitely be taking her back when they’re in town again 👸🏻

    Great show

    by L. on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Second half was a bit slow and the entire length was a bit long for the under age 5 crowd - but we really enjoyed it over all.

It was a bit slow, less entertaining

by Annie on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

This is my first experience here at Schottenstein and perhaps last. Why do people arrive AFTER the show has started when the place opens 1 full hour before? Missed most of the opening, which was quite good with all of the Disney characters and engaging, by having to get up, stand out of the way while people come to their seats with food, children, coats, diaper bags, etc. We also apparently had the same seats assigned with another late arriving family so there were two more interruptions to show our tickets to prove we were legit. These were pre-sale tickets purchased in October thru Disney and Ticketmaster. Luckily, we had them printed out on paper so it was apparent where we bought them. As for the show, the snow falling was a great thrill and magical for all. Despite Ana's wardrobe malfunction, she kept up her role. I think after having to watch the movie 20 times at home, this was pretty much the same. It would have been a five if after the show, the characters would have done a quick meet and greet scattered throughout the exits as guests were leaving. All in all, parking was good, prices high as expected on the souvenirs.

    The show was good.

by Nikki on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

The venue was not so good. We $27 for 1 popcorn and 1 cotton candy. Then we bought cups at $10 each and we could not use them. There was no ice and only Diet Coke.. So we then spent $21 for 6 bottles of water.. In all I had 10 seats with 5 little girls and would take them someplace else next time.. This was Sat April 20th, 7pm show. I had seats section 204 row F seats 4-11 and 17 & 18.. Spent alot of money for the most disappointing show ever.. Thanks Nikki

    Seating

by Musical seating on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Show is fine. However before it even started, we arrived at our seating to find that someone else was already sitting in our seats. They also had tickets identified exactly as ours. They had purchased them on “short order” and didn’t “know what to tell us.” We had purchased ours months ago and we’re fortunate enough to find open seats. The usher was worthless.

    Great color, poor sound

    by K. T. on 4/23/19Schottenstein Center - Columbus

The color and performance was outstanding. The music was ok, but any dialog was, at times, unintelligible due to the poor sound system.
