With the 2013 release of their chart-topping debut album Settle, British electronic duo Disclosure became one of the most talked-about new acts of the year. Featuring numerous collaborators including Edward MacFarlane of Friendly Fires, Jamie Woon, Jessie Ware, and London Grammar, the album's pop-oriented garage and house sound was both a critical and commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The record's first three singles - "Latch (feat. Sam Smith)", "White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge)", and "You & Me (feat. Eliza Doolittle)" - were among the year's most ubiquitous club hits, all placing within the UK Top 20 and garnering the album a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination. Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence grew up in Reigate, Surrey, England, making their debut as Disclosure in 2010 with the funky dubstep tracks "Offline Dexterity" and "Street Light Chronicle." After following up with the Carnival EP in 2011, the brothers became increasingly sought out for remix work on the strength of their considerable production skills. In 2012, they picked up their first significant U.K. radio attention with the release of the "Tenderly"/"Flow" single and The Face EP, which featured their hugely popular remix of Jessie Ware's "Running." In 2013, Disclosure continued to build on their already-stellar reputation with a string of impressive live concerts, wowing ticket holders at the Glastonbury Festival in England before embarking on a critically-acclaimed world tour.
Best show ever great venue too. Disclosure has such a beautiful sound.
Way to much light befors Disclosure started to play and the the speakers when Dj Boring was playing it felt that there was only one working, you could not feel or here the base. Other than that everything was good. The line for the coat pickup it was ridiculous.
Definitely one of the best concerts I’ve been to recently amazing light and laser set up fantastic crowd and of course disclosure were brilliant really enjoyed how they enhanced every single song
Loved it because it was easy to get close to the stage. Crowd was fun and respectful.
I’ve seen them 5 times now. Never been disappointed.
Loved the show. They did a great job and played a good set, albeit it felt a bit short, but they covered a good amount of ground. Recommended you go whether you're a fan or not!
I was hoping for more lights and a bigger stage presence. I mean, if a DJ gets up on the stage and just plays their music from a recording, at least they can spend some dollars on a sound set up and lights.
First time seeing Disclosure at Bill Graham in SF. amazing set with great sound quality!
Disclosure was AWESOME. My husband and I had so much fun, and genuinely missed live shows over the past two years. Love all the visual effects, and the sound and volume was perfect. Only wish was for merch! WAMU theater really needs to work on the way concert goers can exit the building/coat check. It was a crowded, shuffled mess trying to get out, it felt like a safety hazard, especially with covid. Utilizing more signage and multiple exits would have been a huge help, and alleviated the wait time and crowd around coat check.
This was my first concert since the Pandemic and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Thank you for the entire WAMU team and Disclosure for an incredible evening!!
Just hoping they will come back, such a great dj couple and tickets prices were reasonable
Incredibly sad to have gotten sick and even more upset the Ticketmaster didn’t allow me to put them up for sale, like I was able to for other concerts.
if you like house and disclosure, you would've loved this concert. sucks you couldn't be here losers haha.
The concert was worth every penny. This performance was one I’ll never forget
Seen these boys live twice now. Amazing show! Great stage design great sound!
Awful. I was listening to openers for 3 & 1/2 hours standing on my feet, so by the time disclosure even came out I had wanted to leave because my feet, legs, and back hurt from standing. They performed for less time than their openers. It was not enjoyable at all. The waiting really ruined it
This show was very different than expected. The ticket and website said doors were at 9pm and there weren't any openers listed, so I assumed Disclosure would be on by about 10pm. It turns out there were two very long openers, and Disclosure didn't come on stage until 12:30am! They only played a few of their own songs, and the rest was them DJing, which we had just heard for the 3.5 hours before they came on stage. This was also an 18+ event, so a lot of people could drink. Although this isn't Disclosure's fault, by the time they came on, a lot of people were pretty drunk and very pushy, which made the experience generally uncomfortable. This being said, I don't think I'd go to one of their DJ sets again, but I would try one of their regular shows.
Great Show! Went with a group and we all loved the show. I would go to the venue again.
A two hour show (and I'm being generous with that length) put on by DJs? I was thoroughly disappointed by that. We were out by 11:30! The music was not bad at all, but the price & the length of the show left a lot more to be desired.
Ever since I saw Disclosure at EDCLV 2015 I was completely amazed! I never knew how good they actually were! Then I saw them at Bill Graham the past weekend and saw these guys with actual instruments and singers! I was completely amazed! I never seen a DJ go all out like that! I really wish I could meet Disclosure
