With the 2013 release of their chart-topping debut album Settle, British electronic duo Disclosure became one of the most talked-about new acts of the year. Featuring numerous collaborators including Edward MacFarlane of Friendly Fires, Jamie Woon, Jessie Ware, and London Grammar, the album's pop-oriented garage and house sound was both a critical and commercial success, debuting at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. The record's first three singles - "Latch (feat. Sam Smith)", "White Noise (feat. AlunaGeorge)", and "You & Me (feat. Eliza Doolittle)" - were among the year's most ubiquitous club hits, all placing within the UK Top 20 and garnering the album a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination. Brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence grew up in Reigate, Surrey, England, making their debut as Disclosure in 2010 with the funky dubstep tracks "Offline Dexterity" and "Street Light Chronicle." After following up with the Carnival EP in 2011, the brothers became increasingly sought out for remix work on the strength of their considerable production skills. In 2012, they picked up their first significant U.K. radio attention with the release of the "Tenderly"/"Flow" single and The Face EP, which featured their hugely popular remix of Jessie Ware's "Running." In 2013, Disclosure continued to build on their already-stellar reputation with a string of impressive live concerts, wowing ticket holders at the Glastonbury Festival in England before embarking on a critically-acclaimed world tour.

As a long time disclosure fan, I was extremely disappointed in how this event was set up and organized. Line wait times to get into the event were an hour PLUS, there was one bar inside the event space that took almost an hour to get a drink, no bars near the entrance line for people waiting in line to get drinks, crowd wasn’t controlled and was at capacity to the point that people were jumping lines to cut and get in faster. Arrived at 7 and didn’t get inside the venue until 8:45. Absolutely PISS POOR planning! If you are planning to go to a Release pool party, arrive at least a couple hours early to prepare to wait in line to get in, bring someone else with you so they can wait in line for drinks or food.
The show was great. The visual background effects was great. And the stage lights beaming into the crowd was spectacular. Music was great. Overall good experience!
I went with my gf who was visiting from Costa Rica looking for all night dance but it ended at 10:30… awful
Very fun environment to watch a great duo and have a fun evening
They are amazing. The lights, visuals, and music were mesmerizing. What a dreamscape.
Excelente show, they play every key song and I loved how they interacted with us. Well done!
The music and light show was great, but for the money, I couldn’t recommend anyone to see them again. This was the shortest concert I’ve ever been to - and all the music was their hits and not much more.
The show started at 8pm, and we knew there was an opening act. We decided to get to the venue at 9:30, to time it for when Disclosure started their set. But when we got there, they were already playing, and they were done at 10:45!! I’ve never been to a show that ended so early. Obviously we shouldn’t have gone so late but there was nowhere to see the set times online and I wish venues/concerts would be more clear about when each artist is coming on stage. We took our time thinking we’d be fine getting there at 9:30 and clearly we were wrong.
I saw them at the Anthem and it was packed! I caught the end of DJ Boring's set and they came on around 9:30 I want to say. The show went till 11. They use lasers which made for an amazing live experience. Unfortunately, getting out of there was a nightmare. There were no public bathrooms open once you leave the venue so you have to Uber/Lyft/Metro from The Wharf. Was a little inconvenient but overall was a fun experience.
Expected more from them. The show was barebones djing. I love my edm and deep house but this was just very so n so.
Second time I’ve seen Disclosure and every time I see them they are amazing! I loved hearing their new music live! Incredible set!
2 lines outside to wait to get in. No one knew which line was for what; no communication from the staff for the people in the line. It was cold and rainy which made it worse. Show was great, the bad rocked.
It was incredible, sound was amazing , visuals amazing, I had a great time.
First time at the anthem and to see disclosure. Excellent opener in DJ boring. Loved the show. incredible venue and great sound and space!
Disappointed that the show was only an hour and 45 minutes.
The show was fun. But the venue did a terrible job of getting customers into the show. I was in line for over an hour in the rain. I missed the first 30 minutes of the set list because of venue.
The venue for this concert was awesome (Anthem in DC), but the show itself was not as great as I thought it would be. It seemed to end early (before 10:45 - but maybe that was the venue's issue) and Disclosure didn't play most of the songs that I was hoping to hear - and the crowd around me seemed just as surprised. At the end of the show everyone around us looked confused that it was over and were all shouting the names of the different songs they came to hear (many of which were the same I wanted to hear too). People seemed a little let down. The songs they played were good, but super mellow and flat (like no big build ups to dance around to), and I think people were hoping for a more party vibe (especially since for many of us this was our first concert since pre-pandemic!!). I still love Disclosure, but after waiting YEARS to see them live I did walk away underwhelmed.
Doors opened at 8pm and we got there at 10pm to skip the opener. The concert ended at 10:30, I’ve never left a concert venue that early. I get it, the Anthem isn’t a night club, but if the opener played for an hour and Disclosure played for an hour and a half, that means the show started pretty much when doors opened and that NEVER happens. The show was amazing for what we got to see but we missed more than half of it because no set times were posted anywhere and the show started soooo early. Extremely disappointed that we missed it…
They put on an amazing show that kept you dancing for over an hour and a half. Would absolutely go again
