Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

I'd see them again and again! Damn they all looked so sexy too! Yum!
the crowd was so loud it hurt my ears. the Dirty Heads looked truly happy to be playing for us. they would try to keep a strait face but would end up smiling, it was clear they were having fun, which made it more fun for us. i danced and sang so loud my voice hurt. they boys gave it their all up on the stage and it was simply an amazing night.
It was one of the best shows I've ever been to!!!!
The performance was great. The Ogden got rocked hard. It was a treat to hear their new songs. I can't wait for their new album...
The Headliner: Dirty Heads were Absolutely amazing. This band just gets better every time I see them and they are just going to keep getting better as they grow. They played a lot of new tracks from a forthcoming album (that I am very much looking forward to) as well as their more notable tracks from Any Port In A Storm. Cover of Rolling Stones Paint it Black is amazing with a reggae feel to it. The Openers: I'm actually not too sure who the first band was but they have potential. Another hip hop reggae funk type of band but the singer seemed like he was trying too hard to look and act like a thug, other than that there music wasnt too bad. The second opener was this guy Outasight, basically a guy rapping over another guy with a mac computer and a turntable, no band at all this guy SUCKED! I dont know where they got him from but music was just terrible. The Venue: The Paramount is a very cool new venue, nice layout but the drinks are way too Over Priced ($9 bucks for a Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale) and the security was just way too ridiculous. They were everywhere and just busting peoples balls for basically doing nothing. They were perched in every corner of the venue it someone was doing something they didnt like flashlights were on that guy and like 6 security guards pushing through to get to them and they werent even misbehaving in any way. It was just kind of distracting trying to watch the band and having security pushing through you for what didnt seem like any reason at all. Overall great show by DH openers were kinda blah and venue although very nice is just way too tight with security and how they handle things, if they loosen up a bit it will be a real good place to go to for future shows.
Awesome as usual. These guys will put on a great show no matter what. If you get the chance to see them, DO IT!
The Dirty Heads were fantastic! We were hugely disappointed that The Gym Class Heroes bailed out of the show with no reason given.
the whole vibe of the concert was laid back and relaxing. i loved the beach feel and walking around barefoot with your feet in the sand was unique.
I loved the show! This was my third time seeing dirty heads in the past 6 months and it gets better every time. They always put on a great show! The venue was perfect. The only thing I dislike is how tall the stage is at mandalay bay. It is sometimes hard to see the band if you want to get up close.
Good music, good venue, chill atmosphere.... Would do it again in a minute!!!!
Dirty Heads sound better in person than the studio recording! Great energy, great music. The Wailers are the Wailers....classic songs, but didn't play enough of them!
Loved this show... I love The Dirty Heads and Mandalay Beach!!! Had a blast!
Wailers were good... but Dirty Heads did noting but curse the whole time. I think it turned a lot of people off. Many left early. Bad combo of bands... the difference between genres was so stark, i feel like we wasted half the price of the tickets.
Great show! Awesome outdoor venue on the Beach at Mandalay Bay.
LOVE<3 I drove 4 hours to see these guys, and believe me it was worth it. all of the bands were amazing and sounded great live! amazing concert for so cheap, it kind of makes me sad. anyone who likes these guys should def. see them live.
The Dirty Heads were absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! GREAT SHOW!
They were excellent! Sounded amazing live and I really enjoyed the opening band New Project!
The show was amazing both bands played all my fave song of theirs. idk how to explain it, both bands in one night was the greates experience. I HIGHLY recomend it!! & the place was perfect no seats everyone standing but all the spots had a great view, very pleased. I hope they perform together again i would definitly get me a pair of tickets
LOVE New Politics and Dirty Heads, they never disappoint. First time seeing Soja, great band, reminds me of my childhood in Puerto Rico, listening to street musicians. Very cool chill music.
Awesome! Super animated. I took my boyfriend to see them and I actually ended up loving them as well.
