About

Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

    All bands were great. The crowd for Dirty Heads was the loudest crowd I have ever been a part of. Over all great experience for me and my family.

    After realizing that I would not be able to enjoy the show from the front, as I did not have a General Admissions ticket, I was pretty bummed out, but the bands that night truly made up for it. It didn't matter where in the amphitheater you were seated, Katastro, Aer, Pepper, and the Dirty Heads made everyone feel like they were right on stage. The lights were amazing, the sound was phenomenal, and the stage presence- unbeatable.

    The concert was so amazing, venue was clean and easily accessible, I bout the worst seats up in the nose bleed section and still had a great view, pepper is one of my favorite bands and i had the best time seeing them there, Pepper and the Dirty Heads were completely amazing live.

    I have never been so stunned by just how good a group is like I was with the Dirty Heads. Aer and Pepper was really good too but Dirty Heads made my jaw drop, they rocked big time. Before this I kind of like a few songs but now I am a Dirty Head for life.

    Pepper was playing most of there songs at double pace, not of the live songs they played there sounded good. And I LOVE PEPPER!

    Great time! Awesome people! Loved it all, the only thing we would complain would be is you couldn't really clearly hear the singers because it almost sounded like all the instruments were at the same volume.

    DH are top shelf and rocked the amphitheater to it's knees. It was the most energy I've seen at a concert. Especially, when your played Medusa!!!!

    Pepper was great but the bass was turned up so much with the reverb you could hardly hear the vocals. Sound man should have adjusted that some and they would have been off the hook!! Dirty Heads sounded great and put on a great show!! Definitely worth going to see !!

    The venue was great..great atmosphere! Pepper and dirty heads put on a kick ass performance and the crowd matched their energy! I can't wait to see them again already.
