Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

Show was awesome pepper out on a real good show ! Love thier songs and they had great energy.. Really involved the audience! Dirty heads were of course amazing!!!! The beach vibe was great stood on the sand for pepper went in the water for dirty heads.. Prices were really expensive.. I guess it's vegas even tho it's still outrageous! Overall went to see great bands with irie vibes.. Awesome bday weekend !
the dirty heads, pepper, and aer were great, one of the best concerts I've been to at the amphitheatre. had such a fun time and if they came to st. Aug again, id definitely attend
First off, the Dirty Heads meet and greet was amazing!!! They were so nice and funny. As far as the concert, it was obviously great!! The Pepper fans were a bit rowdy and I really wish people were mature enough to stand in a pool with out filling up the beer buckets with water and drenching people.....but we can't have it all. Other than those things, I had such a fun time and would DEFINITELY do it again.
Dirty Heads were amazing and put on and excellent, energetic, and FUN show! Talent was evident on the stage and the way they performed was pure soul on display.
The Dirty Heads are soooo AMAZING LIVE! If you ever get the chance go see them it was by far the best show I have ever been too... im a huge fan of theirs and I wish the night could have gone on for hours longer.
Every band was great. It was one hell of a party! The whole place was moving.
Pepper is the best band out right now and the best show you'll see all year - hands down!!! Dirty Heads and AER were good too, but Pepper stole the show!!

Dirty heads, phenominal. Will see again. Pepper decided to turn punk rock, and they were horrendous. Sucks because I was mostly excited to see them. Butchered my favorite song, ho's by making it a punk song.
The Dirty Heads put on the best live shows I have ever seen. They love their fans, and it shows!!!
AER was a great opening band - really enjoyed their set Dirty Heads - VIP Met the band before the show - they are so nice and so talented Great show the new album rocks! While their setlist was short it was great - 16 songs We missed Believe and Radio but figured they were exhausted from the heat in Austin We pleaded for them to play "Antelope" but they didn't veer off the set. ******Now I have to say this 1 time Pepper should NEVER have headlined for them Dirty Heads are clearly several notches above all the other bands playing with them Pepper didn't even play "Drunk Girl" either his best song Regardless the Dirty Heads are worth every penny to see them live anywhere anytime!!!! They sound amazing and while I am excited they have been getting air play on 102.1 in Dallas I hope they continue to play small to medium venues. If indoor House of Blues is the best, but outdoor there are so many options just don't play outdoor between June and September in Texas LOL - Austin heat Jared, Dustin Matt and the Band were so great, so nice, got tons of awesome pics and autographs What an amazing night! Can't wait for their next visit to Dallas - hopefully next year!!!!
Dirty Heads rocked the stage! I never heard of Aer before but now I'll start following. Pepper, on the other hand, disappointed me. I loved their music but they seemed off. Bailed early, but not before seeing Dirty Heads and Aer kick ass!
What a show the Dirty Heads put on. I will see them any and every time they come back to the Dallas area. I might even drive a little further to see them too!
You just can't beat seeing Dirty Heads live. 7 times now for me and they get tons better every time. AER and Pepper lit it up too.
Great show and all the bands played a lot of songs. We had a great time.
Everything was great other than it being too hot waiting in line outside for the show to start. Which is out of anyone's control. Other than that maybe some area for seating would have been great. Standing for 5 hours straight sucks!

They put on a great show as always. My husband loved every minute of it. We rocked out with the Spectified Glasses!!!! I am outraged that they didn't headline! With that being said they did not get as much stage time as they deserved. But I've seen there tour dates and know they are super busy with a show almost every night of August.
Dirty Heads and AER should have done the show themselves! They were amazing! Pepper was not good, I know they had some issues with equipment but I honestly probably would have felt the same way anyway.
