About

Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

  • Great show!

by N&B on 11/10/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Such a great show, we wished it could have gone on longer! Thank you for the experience. Loved to see everyone dancing from kids to security guards in the great venue to a great band!

  • Awesome Halloween concert

Great venue and great concerts even missing Jared. Duddy represented and killed it!

  • Disappointed is an understatement

by MC on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 1 out of 5

We paid a premium price for up front tickets to what we thought was going to be an amazing and intimate show. At first sight of the band crowds of people rushed to the stage and crowded us out, rendering our premium seats useless. But the worst part of the whole evening is the band only played for an hour and 15 minutes. There was no opener, no other entertainment…just Dirty Heads. For $600+ we should gotten more than we did. Extremely dissatisfied with the entire experience.

  • Underwhelming

by AV on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was in a ballroom with conference chairs set up. Very odd venue. The band only played for an hour and 15 minutes. I know the lead singer was not there, but if they can't do a full show, they should have canceled. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

  • TERRIBLE

This as by far the worst shows, you can tell they were only worried about making money and same with Ocean's.

  • Great show and venue!

by Seger27 on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Dirty Heads put on a great show and sounded great! We missed Jared but understand that he was not there so he could focus on his health and well-being. Hopefully he can join the band again soon. The venue at the casino was small and intimate so every seat was a good one. I did not give five stars is because the show was cut short. Even an employee at the venue said they did not play the entire time scheduled. Overall, I loved the show and will see them again. Hopefully with Jared next time!

  • The Duddy Show

by Tracyfromohio on 11/4/25Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Truly missed Jared in Atlantic City, but he needs to take care of self first. Duddy took over majority of the vocals and with the help of back singers, sorry can’t think of their names, and the audience rocked out an amazing show. I have seen them in Pittsburgh, Red Rocks, Detroit, Cleveland, this was one of most memorable! Someday I hope to hear End of the World live

  • Great energy bad sound

by JDlish on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Saw Dirty Heads at the Pantheon Ceasar’s Danville venue. They were down their frontman Jared, but the rest of the band put on a full energy show playing some older songs off their first albums that you don’t typically hear in concert. The sound was not great. Vocals mostly were washed out. I had seats in the back of the venue (no bad seats in the venue) and paid around $90 per seat. Band only played for a little over an hour without an opening act. Would not pay that much again for what the show was (even if Jared would have been with them). If you can catch your band elsewhere, I’d recommend it.

  • Great Band-Great Show- venue mid- play longer !

by Niece on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was mid, smoky casino in a not so great town. Tickets were pricey and they only played for an hour and 15 minutes with no opener. The show began promptly at 8 and ended by 9:15. Missing the other lead singer Jared made for an interesting night as well. However, the band carried on and sounded wonderful. Just too short-could have used Another set, another band, something. We drove 41/2 hours to see this show and stayed in an Airbnb instead of the $600 hotel room. Our Airbnb was nice but as every uber driver informed us, we were not in a great location. We won’t go back to this venue, and could’ve have used a little more dirty coming all that way.

  • Reggae in a ballroom

by A Mac on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Dirty Heads were amazing despite not having their lead singer there. The venue was… interesting. Not a concert venue, but a hotel ballroom/conference room with chairs on the floor. Definitely didn’t help the vibe.
