About

Dirty Heads are a reggae rock band from Huntington Beach, California. Consisting of lead vocalists and founders Jared Watson (Dirty J) and Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B), along with percussionist Jon Olazabal, drummer Matt Ochoa and bassist David Foral, the band was formed in 2001 and immediately evoked the spirit of bonfire barbeques and summer road trips. Dirty Heads’ appeal is rooted in the infectious reggae grooves of songs like 2017’s “Vacation,” which became a viral hit in 2021 as the sound behind the #VacationTransition trend on TikTok. The band’s breakthrough hit was another “song of the summer” contender: “Lay Me Down” (feat. Rome of Sublime with Rome), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and Rock Songs charts. In 2021, the band released The Best of Dirty Heads, a compilation album featuring Travis Barker, Aimee Interrupter of The Interrupters, Matisyahu, Train, Tech N9ne and Rome. Dirty Heads have hit the road with artists such as 311, O.A.R., Gym Class Heroes and Lupe Fiasco, and more.

  • Great Show, Great Venue

by lawsonm3 on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Overall, it was a great show. I was a little disappointed that Jared could not be there for the show, but the band did fantastic and played a lot of their old classics. which was very fun. The venue was fantastic, felt like a small club show. I would definitely go see Dirty Heads again, and also go to the Pantheon on Ceasars Virginia again.

  • Disappointed is an understatement

by JB on 11/4/25The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia - DanvilleRating: 1 out of 5

A crowd of several hundred rushed to the stage at the start of the concert. This defeated the purpose of paying more for closer seats. They just should have made it GA like an outdoor venue. Smoking and vaping in the venue when clearly banned on signage. Acoustics were terrible. Couldn’t hear the singer many times due to back track they were playing because the lead singer was out. Highly disappointed. They were much better in Vegas. Will not attend another event at this venue again.

  • Great show

by X-ray Biotch on 11/4/25Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Sadly the lead singer could not attend the show. The rest of the band really stepped up to provide the crowd a great show!!

  • Jared missing - Dirty Heads still ROCKED!

by Jimmy on 11/3/25Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Ovation hall is a fantastic venue to see a concert. The band played their hearts out…really cool show.

  • Should have been canceled and refunded

by J&C on 11/3/25Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 2 out of 5

We hoped the event would be canceled and tickets refunded, but alas it was not. The rest of the band made valiant effort, but it simply was not up to par for their live shows ( of which we've seen nearly 20 times)

  • Where’s Jarred…?

by Me on 11/3/25Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort - Atlantic CityRating: 3 out of 5

Was pretty disappointed that I wasn’t notified earlier that Jarred would not be performing with the band and given ample time to possibly request a refund and or a rain check for another show at a later date. Although I respect and admire Duddy for going through with the show, I would’ve liked to have been given the option.

  • Amazing

by Tracy Elizabeth on 10/30/25Daily's Place - JacksonvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This venue and band were exceptional! Would definitely come back here for and show

  • Show was great, sound system stunk

by Starry on 10/27/25Daily's Place - JacksonvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was great however the sound system was horrible. Couldn't understand what anyone was saying from the stage. It was just a bunch of muffled sounds. With that being said, I'm guessing the show itself would have been even better. I knew the songs so, I knew those words. Daily's place needs a better sound system than that.

  • A Great Experience

by Rachelpie on 10/13/25Nugget Event Center - SparksRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was great, the seats were great the show was amazing. Both bands had great energy, the crowd was into it and having a great time. They kept the lines short and moving. The only downside is the lack of food in or around the venue

  • Great show from those who showed up

by Cmy on 10/13/25Nugget Event Center - SparksRating: 4 out of 5

Dirty heads and Fitz and the tantrums were great. Venue was awesome. Awolnation didn't show up and there was no explanation from anyone, kind of weird it was sweetie under the rug like that

  • Dirty Heads is off the hook but Awolnation bailed smh

by Mama lasagna on 10/13/25Nugget Event Center - SparksRating: 4 out of 5

Dirty heads was off the hook but Awolnation bailed out last second wasted over a half an hour of concert time because of that. Definitely lost respect for Awolnation when we were excited to see them. Dirty will definitely be on my future concert dates when they are in California. Absolutely love Dirty Heads 🔥

  • Excellent venue, amazing show!

by Dworm on 11/14/24Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Dirty heads never disappoints, and the Casino has got to be one of the few remaining venues that gives a unique show experience. 5 stars for both. Line moves to get inside, drink lines are not too bad, and the sound is always incredible. The whole place shakes when the bass drops!

  • Dirty Heads

by Sean on 11/13/24Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

They sounded incredible live! Can’t wait to see them again

  • Awesome show, The Dirty Heads

by Bass-ickBion on 11/13/24Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Dirty Heads killed it, at Hampton Beach Sunday night. The show was amazing and the energy there was intense. I've seen them 8 times, twice in Hampton and they never let me down, but the show and vibe when they play in Hampton is beyond phenomenal.
