Dirty Dancing (Touring) Tickets

Any performance at the Landmark is enhanced by the sheer beauty and history of the Theater (even if it could use a major restoration). Dirty Dancing has been one of my favorite movies of all time due to the dancing and music. This performance did not hold up its end on the dancing part for me. Yes, there was dancing and all in all it was good, but not great. We left a bit under-whelmed and did not feel that the performance did the movie justice. Usually we leave finding that the Musical surpassed a movie, this was our first opposite. The scenery also was a bit lack luster. Maybe my expectations where a bit too high given that the movie is one of my all time favorites. All in all we enjoyed it, but where not wowed.

Movie was much better! Thought performance was slow and rather boring in first half! Second half was better!

Everyone involved to make this show possible put in 100% The singing was superb and the dancing phenomenal. A must see!!

They try to mimic the movie. Been to over 10 Broadway plays and this is the worst

Wow, these kids can sing and dance. At first I thought the show was a bit lame, but as it continued it became evident that these kids knew what they were doing. This show was building up to an amazing finale. I would go again, loved it!! Congratulations to the cast and crew. Nicely done!

The story did not translate well to the stage. I felt there were too many set changes which added to a lack of chemistry between Johnny and Baby. The singing and dancing were very good for a traveling production.

I love the Landmark Theater. However, the acting in this particular show was not good. I found the added scenes to be a little odd too. I liked the message that the extra scenes were portraying, but not necessarily the way the scenes were executed. The dancing was ok though. Also it didn't help that there was a group of extremely drunk women being very loud and disruptive during the entire show. Not cool.

The performance was absolutely fantastic. They followed the story almost to the letter. Every performer was great.I would highly recommend this if you are a fan of the movie. Even if you’re not it’s still well worth it.

The show was good, not great. The sound was extremely off and the vocals almost sounded like they were yelling. Not sure if this was the venue or what have you. I am disappointed with what I paid for tickets to the show in regards to the quality of the show. It is more like something a local group might put on.

Show was entertaining. Highlight was the dancing. Sets and set changes were poor and distracting. Sight lines were poor in many moments. Acting was stilted - actors were just reciting lines without much believability. Many lines were thrown away.

It was amazing! They kept it true to the movie, which I loved, and some of the characters even looked like the characters from the movie. Great work!

This production went so fast! I was totally lost in the story all over again. What a great way to enjoy life!

I was a little disappointed with the show. The story didn't seem to translate very well to the stage. It seemed rushed or something - if I hadn't seen the movie I would've had no idea what was happening. There was no time to develop the characters and how they related to each other. Dancing was great but IMO, the acting wasn't that good. The lines seemed forced and just spoken rather than felt.

Don't get me wrong being apart of the theater must be very hard but I just did not feel passion in some of the actors/actress parts. My favorite character was Penny, she was a great actress and an even better dancer! Baby felt like sometimes she just was not right for the part. The play was good but the scenery could have changed a little more throughout the play. There were some parts that I felt bored and not entertained which sounds crazy because I loved the movie. I thought it was a little strange the main characters did not sing either... It was Ok but it is not one of those plays I would go see again.

This was an amazing show!!! The actors did a great job and I would see it again!

Dirty Dancing, the Broadway show, hit all the iconic moments of the beloved movie and the audience cheered and clapped as they happened. Dancing is incredible and it is clear actors were chosen for their ability in dance. The two designated singers, are powerful and very talented and the set design is very creative and amazingly smooth in its transitions as actors helped move sets as part of the scenes. That being said, The acting, although generally good, was the weakest part of the show. I felt the actors were quite wooden in their delivery of lines, and not until Act II is there any indication of chemistry between Johnny and Baby. The visual made up for that in interest, but perhaps wouldn't have cared about characters if I didn't love the movie.

I absolutely 100% LOVED the show! Please go see it!! Cast, music, and dancing were all fantastic

Too many added story lines...had to move at intermission couldn't see around people. Not that enjoyable. Singing okay..dancing was good.

This play was absolutely Amazing!! If you get the opportunity to go see it, run don't walk!!
