Great show , performancers were excellent, a must see
Very good except mention of Martin Luther king Jr innuendos. Never mention in the movieever!
Overall the show was good. There were some added scenes however that were not from the movie that I could have done without. The show was 2.5 hours with an intermission. It would be better if they didn't do the added scenes and the show was 2 hours without intermission. Also the person who played the role of Baby's father looked NOTHING like him.
What an awesome performance. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone
Dirty Dancing has been my favorite movie since I was a kid. The play was slow at times but the parts everyone watches for made up for it. As soon as he said “nobody puts baby in a corner” the audience lost it. The dancing was great. I do think the added political agenda was a little strange. My biggest complaint was the venue at Caesar’s. The show started at 8pm - like it should have, but apparently over half the attendees thought 8pm was just a suggested time. They should not seat people until intermission after the show starts. They were all talking as they came in and then you had to stand up for people to sit or they’d come down the aisle and stand in your way. So rude and annoying.
I bought 3 tickets for my daughters and myself, this was the worst show I every saw. Poor acting, bad set and we could see the people back stage from the side view. We left at intermission and didn't go back. Was not worth the money!!!
Dirty Dancing at Caesars should be Dirty Dancing on Broadway! Excellent cast and excellent sets. We thoroughly enjoyed the show from beginning to end.
It was a wonderful show!!!!!! My sister and I took my mom as a Mother's Day gift since this is one of our favorite movies. It was so worth it. We had a great time : )
Show average, venue needs a little work. Seats below fallen ceiling tiles with debris left in the aisle. Adding a $6 fee to will call tickets is absurd.
I was really disappointed. Dirty Dancing was iconic went it was first released and will be for always. Girls wanted to be Baby and they wanted their man to be Johnny Castle true to form. This show deviated from the movie, threw in their own political jab and had actors that over performed with characters that should not have been as developed as they were. Hey, maybe it was the venue but I'm 100% in my belief that Walnut Street theater puts on better shows than this non-memorable performance. As far as I'm concerned, you can leave this baby in the corner.
Was not the greatest play by any means but the venue at Caesars in Atlantic City was lovely and the dancing was superb. Acting was not top notch and they added some scenes that were a bit confusing and not necessary. overall it was a B- rating but kudos to the dancing
We loved dirty dancing and we would highly recommended you seeing it. The singing and dancing was spectacular
Should've saved the $200 I spent (for 3 back row tix)& watched the movie again- for free! We left at intermission. Couldnt figure it out. SAME EXACT COSTUMES AS MOVIE. SAME EXACT LINES AS MOVIE-- but goofy exaggerated body movements- no character feel except for Baby's sister. As a musical, I expected actual live singing on stage- as the music was a huge part of the movie. Only ONE live song during first HOUR! If I paid $20/ticket I would probably be less annoyed. Venue is great. Just wish there was better access to the upper level.
This musical was just as wonderful as I had expected. Everyone that has seen it told me how much I would enjoy it and I did. Loved the storyline as well. Didn’t know that she and her husband were the creators of so many songs! Fantastic show.
Wonderful dancers and singers! Got a standing ovation at the end, which was totally deserved. Would love to see it again! And maybe a few times more after that... Just like the movie!:)
The audience seemed to enjoy it but the last 5 minutes they erupted in cheers. NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER AND THE FINAL DANCE LIFT.
Loved the movie and loved this play on stage the same! from the acting to the singing, props, back stage crew, and everyone involved, PROS! I recommend it highly! Seats were great, prices were not bad for going during the week. Can't get the songs out of my head. The lead actor who portrayed Johnny was spot on.
Worst play I have seen. I couldn't see a thing from my seats that were super expensive. No real props or lighting or good music or songs. I love the movie but many of the songs are not even sung and the acting is very poor. The whole audience didn't watch just talked behind me and played on their cell phones. Venue was horrible for a play. If you are not in the first few rows don't bother going to any play. After paying $200 you were not allowed to take even a single pic after the show ended. Real poor security and staff there.
Great show! Fantastic performers Review text is not to short. U ask my opinion i gave it.
Great time! Was the perfect show for a girls night out! Wonderful actors, great set and was an enjoyable night! Would definitely recommend
