  • Dirty Dancing

by LaurieI on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Great experience, singers, dancers, music, film, everything was perfect. So current

  • Better than imagined

by First time on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

I honestly thought I was coming to see a musical. But watching the movie while a live band played the soundtrack and the audience participation was awesome. I really enjoyed it.

by JND on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

It was just great from the opening note until the bitter end

  • Dirty dancing

by Kellymcb on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I was really disappointed in this performance. I knew it was dirty dancing in concert but I never thought it would be just watching a movie with live music. The amount of money spent on the tickets was way too much for what we got

  • Interactive experience

by Fran on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

Parking was great! We were a lil late coming in, no lines, bar moved quickly. The show itself was a movie playing on a screen with a live band. As a Dirty Dancing super fan, i found the live band fun and it helped bring the movie to life. I was not expecting to watch the original movie on a screen. Tickets were not too expensive and we had a blast laughing, awing, and clapping during great scenes. Audience encouraged to interact. I will go again, but get cheaper seats, no need to see the band up close.

  • Great experience

by Crazy for swayze on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

Such a fun night. Lots of couples. The singing was fantastic. The show on the big screen behind them was nostalgic. I would’ve liked to see some more interaction and chemistry on the stage between singers “baby” and “swayze”.

  • Extremely disappointed

by Jane on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I love the movie Dirty Dancing, but I didn’t love paying $88 plus 2+ hours driving with the cost of gasoline. We could have watched the movie at home for free. There was a band and they played a little while the movie was playing. They were OK. After the show, the band then played the music from the movie again and it was called a “dance party”……ummmm, don’t waste your time and money

  • Didn't Go

by DanceGranny on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Unfortunately, could not attend, Due to circumstances beyond my control.

  • Extremely disappointed

by Disappointed on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

If I could give minus stars I would. Way overpriced for nothing like I thought it would be. Would not recommend at all. One word: cheesy.

  • Underwhelming!

    by J. S. on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

Was so incredibly disappointed that this was a movie with a live band. Not a play or musical. The high ticket prices for what was provided was ridiculous, not to mention the extremely inflated prices of beverages as well. Very underwhelming experience.

  • Time of our Lives!!

by Ryerye on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

We had such a good time, singing and dancing to all the music. Would definitely do this again. If you love the movie its a must see show!

  • Annoyed

by Annoyed on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Paying for watching a movie, with the soundtrack live is ok, however the smoke and the lights and the volume left much to be desired, I couldn’t see half of the move due to the smoke and lights.. was not a fan and total waste of money…

  • This was Basically a really expensive movie

by Not impressed on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

The band was amazing but the title of the tour is confusing. The singers and the band were great but there was a movie screen and they played the entire dirty dancing movie. I was expecting more of a broadway type show not to watch a movie.

  • Disappointed

by Stacy on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Paid $70 to watch the movie on screen with some intermittent music done on stage. No live dancing or acting. Waste of my money

  • Waste of money

    by R. J. on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

Not exactly what I expected. Could have stayed home and watched the movie for free. The band was good, but not that good.

  • Bored in Detroit

by Bored in Detroit on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

This show is BORING. It's literally the movie on a big screen with a band. No dancers. The sound is awful.

  • Amazing

    by C. F. on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time. Loved audience participation!!

  • Very disappointed. Basically watching the movie

by Dee on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

We were expecting much more than a few live songs played over the movie soundtrack. We thought there would be some live dance performances etc. Tickets are too expensive for the level of performance we received.

  • Extremely Disappointing

    by Cindi H on 11/7/22Fisher Theatre - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I, as well as my party of 8, was very disappointed. If i wanted to watch a movie we could have rented it for far cheaper than the premium seats we bought! I should have read the reviews but my mother in law really wanted to see it so we took her for her bday. How this could be advertised as a live performance is beyond my stretch of the imagination. Save your money!
