Detroit Red Wings History
Founded in 1926, the Red Wings are one of the NHL's Original Six franchises. The team has captured 11 Stanley Cup Championships, most recently in 2008, as well as six conference championships and 19 division titles. As of 2023, the Red Wings have the most Stanley Cup trophies of any U.S.-based NHL franchise. Eight Red Wings players have their jersey numbers hanging from the Little Caesars Arena rafters: Leonard Patrick “Red” Kelly, Terry Sawchuk, Nicklas Lidström, Ted Lindsay, Gordie Howe, Alex Delvecchio, Sid Abel, and Steve Yzerman.
The Red Wings were purchased in 1982 by Mike and Marian Ilitch, who invested their family savings in 1959 to open the first Little Caesars store in a Detroit suburb.

Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena
The Detroit Red Wings have played their home games at Little Caesars Arena in the heart of downtown Detroit since the 2017–2018 season. Little Caesars Arena is an anchor of a world-class sports and entertainment district known as The District Detroit and received the prestigious Sports Facility of the Year award at the 2018 Sports Business Awards Ceremony. The arena's construction also gave the city of Detroit the unique distinction of having the greatest density of professional sports teams — the Red Wings, Tigers (MLB), Pistons (NBA), and Lions (NFL) — in one downtown core in the country.
The Detroit Red Wings’ 2023–24 regular season kicks off in October at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, when the Red Wings face off against the New Jersey Devils. The Red Wings will also participate in the 2023 NHL Global Series — hosted at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden — with matches against the Ottawa Senators on November 16 and the Toronto Maple Leafs on November 17. They play their final game of the regular season at Bell Centre against Atlantic Division rivals the Montreal Canadiens. Here’s a list of key games to keep an eye on:

Incredible last minute seats. Could not have selected better. Unforgettable game, atmosphere in arena was absolutely electric. Great Value for money.
It was an amazing game. on to round 3 against Chicago.
While the RedWings working their way towards another Stanley Cup Finals in 2009 as the defending Cup team doesn't get any better, the confines of the cramped worn out JLA continues to put a damper on all of their home games. Illitch needs to step it up and build a new arena near his baseball park and FordField...
We killed the Ducks hopes and made Teemu and Pronger cry...It was totally worth the money, and the seats were excellent...
Best seats in town, the Joe rocked, .nothing like it
Game was very exciting and awesome. Seats were great for the price, especially for last minute!
The wings really came out with alot jump , I haven't been at a playoff game in a few years the excitement of being there was unbelievable.I love hockey but I love it even more when my wings are in the playoffs . The joe was really rocking that night. I wish I could afford more than 1 game during the playoffs but if I had it I would be there more often . Thank you red wings for another good run .Wish you kept the cup but there is always next year.
it was a very exiting edge of your seat game. my wife and i enjoyed every exiting minute of it.

What an awesome experience. The game had us on the edge of the seat the entire 60 minutes! Anyone that gets a chance at game 7 of such a big series is lucky on all accounts!
This game was excellent. A real nail biter. The atomosphere and tension were unsurpassed
Had a great time, always fun when your team wins. The place was rocken for a game 7 classic.
Playoff hockey is the best, and it was well worth investing the extra money to get really good seats.
this was by far the best game i have attended!! My seat was just to the right of our penalty box so that made it even better! I highly recommend game 7's!
