Deon Cole is a comedian, writer, and actor, who can currently be seen in the critically acclaimed drama series, AVERAGE JOE, for BET+.
Deon can be seen in Jeymes Samuels' THE HARDER THEY FALL, for Netflix, opposite Idris Elba and Regina King. He can also be seen in Kenya Barris' YOU PEOPLE, for Netflix, opposite Eddie Murphy. Next up Deon stars in Amblin/Warner Bros. adaptation of THE COLOR PURPLE, opposite Taraji P. Henson and Colman Domingo, directed by Blitz Bazawule.
Deon can also be seen as Charlie on ABC's BLACK-ISH and Freeform's GROWNISH. For his work on BLACK-ISH, Deon won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times in a row at the 2020, 2021 & 2022 NAACP Image Awards. Previously, he starred as Detective Daniel "DJ" Tanner on the TBS comedy ANGIE TRIBECA opposite Rashida Jones, and co-starred in the Ice Cube led BARBERSHOP film series.
In standup, Deon recently released his latest one-hour special for Netflix, CHARLEEN'S BOY. His last special, COLE HEARTED, also for Netflix, was released in 2019 after the success of his appearance in Netflix's THE STANDUPS. His previous one-hour special, DEON COLE'S: COLE BLOODED SEMINAR was shot for Comedy Central. His stand-up documentary, WORKIN' IT OUT, debuted exclusively on Netflix is a Joke's Youtube channel, and has garnered 6 million views on social media, and over 2 million views on Youtube.

I look over at my girl on my left, the ladies to my right and they are laughing rivers. He is the man right now. Steve Harvey & Rickey Smiley better hope he never gets a morning radio show cuz not only is he funnier, dude is smart

A good solid performance from start to finish. And the best part was I had front row seats and could actually reach out and touch him. He even took pictures with the audience afterwards. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Harrahs is a great venue as well.

Some of it was very funny and some of it was not. I also do not remember him using the 'N" word so much in previous shows. I would still see him again :-) He is a funny man.

by e. on 8/28/19Orleans Showroom - Las VegasIt was a great experience, we took Lift from the Harrah's in Las Vegas over to the Orleans which took about 15 mins for $8, hang out in the hotel until show time. Deon did his thing we were crying laughing!!!! he keeps it soooo real about life in general and he does it in a very funny way. The irony of it all is we both share the exact same thoughts!!! Very funny Guy!!!!!!
