Denver Nuggets History
One of the founding teams of the American Basketball Association in 1967, the Denver Nuggets franchise was originally known as the Denver Rockets. They preemptively changed their name to the Nuggets before the 1974–75 season, anticipating a move to the NBA (where Houston’s team already had the name). In their nine ABA seasons, the Nuggets made the playoffs seven times — losing in the finals to the New York Nets in the league's final year.
They were one of four ABA teams annexed to the NBA in 1976 and immediately were one of the most successful teams, winning the Midwest Division two straight years behind future Hall of Famers David Thompson and Dan Issel. In 1980, the arrival of another future Hall of Famer, high-scoring forward Alex English, began a run of nine consecutive seasons in the playoffs. Coach Doug Moe's offensive-minded squads made it past the first round of the playoffs four times, falling three times in the conference semifinals and once in the conference finals, in 1985 to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The team had only one winning season in the 1990s, but it was a memorable one. After finishing 42-40 to sneak into the playoffs as the eighth seed in the 1993–94 season, they upset the top-seed Seattle Supersonics in the first round of the playoffs, thanks in no small part to center Dikembe Mutombo's heroics.
Led by 2003 first-round draft pick Carmelo Anthony, the Nuggets reversed their fortunes to post 10 straight winning seasons beginning with the 2003–04 season. The Nuggets won their first NBA championship in 2023, led by two-time league MVP and Finals MVP Nikola Jokić, who collected his third regular season MVP in 2024.

As the ball moves, you will feel vibrations across the surface of the device moving beneath your fingers to replicate the ball position in real time. Our device also generates short Audio Bites so you can plug in headphones directly into the device and listen while you feel the gameplay.
Got to game an hour ahead of time, got drinks got seats and everything else went great, thanks
I found my tickets cheaper than in other applications it's cheaper and easier I loved it
Had seats right behind the Nuggets bench. I did not realize that we would have no view of the court unless we stood up (and annoyed the folks sitting behind us). I've been to other venues where there are warnings about obstructed view for seats that don't have clear view of playing field. These seats should come with a warning like this.
Was great from every aspect! Nikola for MVP and Kyrie is an angel :)
Was an exciting experience and great win!!! Loved sharing this experience with my Bestie!!!
Saw 3 great games, all Denver wins. Had excellent lower bowl seats that were reasonably priced compared to other venues. Denver fans love this team and you can see why after watching. We were visiting from Canada and watching the Nuggets was the purpose of our holiday. We were treated to a fantastic experience.
Every time we’ve been here we commit on how comfortable the seats are. It’s a rarity at a concert venue in my opinion.
Paid a little extra for tickets, but it was worth it. Great atmosphere and interactions with fans in our section. Lots of fun.
My first game ever live in person. I guess you can say it’s been dream watching the nuggets games , my daughters had a blast a little tired but had fun lol
Paid $2200 to sit behind a giant Gatorade station couldn’t see a thing, left in the first quarter and watched on TV
Denver culture and people are great had a fun time at the game sucks they lost but I think everybody should see how it is here
I think this is the best Experience ever I think!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
A night of basketball bliss! The event had everything you could ask for: thrilling gameplay, passionate fans, and an atmosphere that was second to none. Already looking forward to next season!
All good and had an excellent time very exciting and enjoyable
Best tickets love Ticketmaster definitely recommend STARTING here the Going to other apps
This was by far the best seats we could have gotten. Food and drinks were included and our waitresss/host was the absolute best. View to the game was great. Worth the money we spent!
It was a blast!!! The vibe was EXCELLENT!!! With every penny!!
Great experience. Easy to use. No problems at venue
Just a thrilling and fantastic experience for my family. Great fans, team and coach!
Nothing like seeing live and the fans rocked the place, great game!
