    Face-melting Technical Death Metal

by Geoff U. on 7/29/22The Masquerade - Purgatory - Atlanta

Imagine the heat of two rats being amorous in a wool sock underneath a hot oven, but that hot oven is on the sun, and the sun is getting sucked into Canis Majorus. That’s probably like 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 degrees coupled with the crushing weight of 360x10^3,000,000,000 atmospheres all assaulting your face and making it dribble off of your poorly prepared skull and pool on the floor in front of you. They played quite a few songs from their first two albums. They made the crowd go crazy in awe. Bill’s vocals were top notch, and somehow the musicians all seemed refreshed to be playing live again. If I could get off work, I’d just follow them on the entire tour because I enjoyed it that much. Please bring them back, immediately. If you’ve never seen DB before, do it!
