Debbie Reynolds was class act.
by JackTech on 1/20/14L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles - Lake CharlesWe enjoyed the show very much. Some people seemed to expect her to tap dance around the stage as though she were still 16, and sing many whole songs. I expected she would have a singer and band that would do most of the show, while Debbie herself did a few songs to a recording, like lip-synching. So, I was pleasantly surprised at how much she did sing and talk about her career. The slide shows were good also, with her narration. I was glad to see her standing on her own for so long. As a really big star, I think she has earned much more respect than she was shown. Quite a few people began leaving before she even began her last and biggest song - Tammy. Rude! The young man who performed star immitations during her break and costume change, named Stephen, made a few comments about audience participation. His audience didn't clap and scream loud enough for him. However, many of them could have broken bones if they had clapped loudly! Most were in their 70's and 80's. They don't have the breath to yell, either. Stephen did perform many immitations very well, but especially the first one was extremely loud. The seating was very comfortable, and temperature also. The hostesses were very helpful and sweet.
