    Debbie Reynolds was class act.

by JackTech on 1/20/14L'Auberge Casino Resort Lake Charles - Lake Charles

We enjoyed the show very much. Some people seemed to expect her to tap dance around the stage as though she were still 16, and sing many whole songs. I expected she would have a singer and band that would do most of the show, while Debbie herself did a few songs to a recording, like lip-synching. So, I was pleasantly surprised at how much she did sing and talk about her career. The slide shows were good also, with her narration. I was glad to see her standing on her own for so long. As a really big star, I think she has earned much more respect than she was shown. Quite a few people began leaving before she even began her last and biggest song - Tammy. Rude! The young man who performed star immitations during her break and costume change, named Stephen, made a few comments about audience participation. His audience didn't clap and scream loud enough for him. However, many of them could have broken bones if they had clapped loudly! Most were in their 70's and 80's. They don't have the breath to yell, either. Stephen did perform many immitations very well, but especially the first one was extremely loud. The seating was very comfortable, and temperature also. The hostesses were very helpful and sweet.

    Disappointing Show

by Anonymous on 9/24/12Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

Drury Lane shouldn't charge professional prices ($50 tickets) for a less than professional show. Drury Lane has a responsibility to its patrons to offer quality shows. Ms. Reynolds' voice is totally gone. She could barely walk around the stage. I think she ended the second half of the show early.

    Debbie Reynolds

by Ebenezer on 9/19/12Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

The show was funny but you can tell she is starting to slowly forget things. Thank god her band director kept her going when she forgot things. I was glad to see her again but will probably not buy tickets again. My daughter and I laughed alot but in a way felt a little sad on how she would forget lines.

    Debbie was fantastic!

by Bell13 on 6/28/12Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic City

I especially liked this show. When I was young Debbie Reynolds was my idol. She was featured in many magazines with Eddie Fisher. I saw all her movies. Her personality is terrific. She has such a great repartee with her piano man. Her jokes are so funny. "Her headlights in San Diego."The videos as a part of the show were nostalgic for me. I loved it. That completed the whole show for me. She shared her life with us in an intimate way.

    Ms. Reynolds .....a class act

by sparklesplenty on 4/26/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San Rafael

Entertainers come and go, sometimes overnight. For Debbie Reynolds, there is no end in sight. She bubbles with personality, style and charm. She wears her age gracefully with a glorious smile and eternal sparkle in her eyes. She is funny, aware of who she has become and most important, she respects her audience. When the perfomance ended, she moved down the stage from beginning to end and thanked all of the people for coming, shaking hands and graciously allowed pictures. When was the last time you left a performance with a smile on your face and memories of time not so long ago when we ALL respected each other?

Debbie and I grew up together thru her movies. I felt like a teenager again, with every painful memory of every poignant song.....my "puppy loves",first kiss, and OH! those adorable outfits we had! What fun to go back at least for an afternoon. I've been humming those tunes for the last three days. Oh to be back when the world was wonderful.

    Fabulous Debbie--She's still got it!

by CBradley on 4/24/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San Rafael

Few performers can do a one-person variety show. The incomparable Debbie delights: a few jokes just naughty enough to be cute coming from her, good impressions of other celebrities, songs running the gamit from country to rap (you read that right and, again, Debbie pulls it off), best clips from her 6-decade musicals career. Even some fun comments about Liz and Eddie--tongue in cheek with a touch of the class act that she is. She's a total delight to all ages. If I could only see one live show in a decade, I'd pick her--and I'm relatively young. Get a close seat and watch for what she says about her earrings.

    Debbie Reynolds...a true class act.

by LaurieB38 on 4/24/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San Rafael

I bought tickets for my mother for her birthday. We sat 2nd row center. The show was fantastic. At 80 years young, Debbie Reynolds did NOT disappoint. She brought a 90 minute show filled with laughter, music and song. We loved it! And the Marin Center is a beautiful venue with nice folks and lots of parking. Thanks for a great experience!

If you want to see one of the few remaining REAL movie stars, go see Debbie Reynolds. She looks FANTASTIC for 80 years old!!( I was in Row 6 so got a very good view with binoculars). She was very funny and her voice was good. I only wish she would have talked a little more about the stars she worked with over the years, especially Liz Taylor. All in all, I would give the show a B. She is a pro, that's for sure. .

    SHE AIN'T DOWN YET!

by Billandthebears on 4/24/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San Rafael

The irrepressible, 80-year-young, Debbie is still rolling us in the aisles with her wit, comedy banter and singing that still is strong and vibrant! What is her secret? Positive thinking has to be one of the elements and a "zest" for living that never stops. She told us that she never knows for sure "what" she is going to do or say...she has a wealth of material up her show-biz sleeve that could entertain us for days! If you've never seen her...please go...you will come away feeling GREAT!

by dsla on 4/24/12Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium At Marin Center - San Rafael

The combination of the video clips and her comedic delivery was wonderful! There are not many celebrities of her era that are still performing. She looks great! It was an afternoon of light hearted fun!

Debbie Reynolds was better than ever!

by Imdrabbit on 4/7/12Sturges Center for the Fine Arts - San Bernardino

I have seen Debbie perform on stage several times and she seems to get better with age! She was absolutely spectacular! I am so happy to see her doing well and loving it still! Great pictures and memories she had of days gone by and the greatness of the real Hollywood Stars! She was one the youngest and one of the last stars to be contracted with MGM. I was friends, with friends of Debbie, Howard and Gail Stickland, and my parents and I got to see her perform many years ago. She still has all the qualities that made her a star and great performormer! You still got it girl! You always will! And Happy belated 80th birthday!

    Debbie was warm and gracious.

by mamahuey42 on 3/5/12Sturges Center for the Fine Arts - San Bernardino

Debbie's show was warm and entertaining and funny. She is an amazing woman. She Looked beautiful and youthful. It hard to believe that she is going to be 80 in a few weeks. She gives hope to all of us. We waited in the cold near her car after the show. When she came out, she was gracious and visited with us and posed for photos. What a wonderful person!!! I can't wait to see her again.
