As usual the legendary Debbie Reynolds was welcoming, classy and delightful! Appearing for umpteenth year in a row at Drury Lane in Oak Brook, IL Debbie made everyone feel like one of the gals (or guys). She acknowledged all the variety of ages that were in attendance and kept us entertained with songs, jokes, old stories of the Hollywood of yesteryear, movie bloopers of some of the great starts of all time (Jimmy Stewart, Ronald Reagan, Fred MacMurrary and James Cagney) and even went into some impressions. Her singing voice is beautiful, her legs (shown off in the first half of the show with a slit long skirt) are to die for and her personality is enviable. I'm in my mid-forties and know her primarily from recent moves and Will & Grace. This is my 5th time in a row to see her (I never thought of myself as a groupie until now!) and I can't wait to take my 16 year old niece next year!
