The play was outstanding! My niece and I were totally engaged from the beginning to the end. I loved the twist on the play, full of diversity, beautiful costumes and beautiful people! So many talented young kids! Kiddos to The Debbie Allen Dance Academy and the UCLA Royce Hall, the perfect venue!
This was a great show. Very entertaining and some flat out fantastic dancing.

Tickets were a Christmas present for a 10 year old and her mother. Not sure who enjoyed it more! Performers were charming and we enjoyed the entire event.
Best live dancing we have ever seen! Everything from hard hitting hip hop to middle eastern to aerial dancers. The show was full of fun surprises and was a gift that will keep on giving as we recall the amazing performers and sets. Far exceeded my expectations...wonderful job, Debbie Allen! You and your team are amazing!
I had a wonderful experience last weekend watching the production of the Hot Chocolate Nutcracker. Just seeing all of the talented young people with so much energy and cheer made it most enjoyable. I will be returning next year.
The show was EXCELLENT, AMAZING. I did not know what to expect but was very pleased with the performance. The show should be in Las Vegas!!!
Tremendously enjoyed the performance, at least that which we could see. . It is difficult to buy tickets online at Ticket Master to an event when you don't know the venue. Stage left - was hidden from complete view by equipment and lighting. Since it was below the stage performers with fans waving in the audience blocked our view as well. The pics of the venue provided by ticketmaster or the College were not helpful at all!

After researching various Nutcracker dance show, I took my high school junior to this one. According to many of the reviews I read, this is a 'must see' show that delivers year after year. Now I understand. We experienced magic and fun through the talented dance company. Pretty sure that we will be looking for tickets again next year, My daughter dances at high school and we can appreciate the support that Debbie Allen gives to this program and the tremendous opportunity it provides to the youth. Dance on!!

Wonderful performance ! The entire show was entertaining and enjoyable. This is a must see performance for young and old. Congratulations to Ms Debbie Allen, her staff and to all of the performers.

The show was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed the production and admired the hard work that the children did to prepare. Great Job Ms Debbie Allen and her Dance Academy !! Next year I encourage everyone to come out, and be delighted with the family.
The Holt Chocolate Nutcracker was everything I imagined and more! My husband was skeptical in the beginning thinking it was a little kids show but in the midst of it, he was dancing in his seat and so was my daughter. The venue itself is visibly appealing and the show was geared towards all ages. It was colorful and the depiction of all different cultures/countries made it even more colorful! Also the montage of different dance styles made it so much more entertaining! Raven Simone and Debbie Allen's participation (we found out she was one of the mice) was icing on the cake! I would highly recommend this fabulous Christmas/Holiday production!

This is my third year seeing this amazing show. Every year is better than the last. All the scenes are amazing and performers are excellent! Keep up the good work Debbie Allen and cast... you're simply amazing.
Finally got the chance to go after having missed it over a few years.Great cast, music, singing and of course the dancing. You will NOT be disappointed. Allen picked the best to perform, and it just so wonderful how professional the youngsters are at even the youngest age. No mishaps, a very entertaining and fun show!
The show was amazing. It was an eclectic arrangement of dance, song and acting.
This was our first year seeing this amazing show and I can guarantee we will be in the audience from now on! I cannot say enough about this show....from the storyline, to the costumes to the unbelievable talent on stage...this play has it all!!
