DCI: Drum Corps International Tickets

We had no issues with the actual event. Our problem was with Lucas Oil. Whoever is running the concessions needs to figure out how to run a large event. You had a schedule, yet during every hour long dinner break/intermission, the concessions were not ready. There was a 10 minute wait for pizza, they ran out of popcorn, I got cold fries and a stale bun on the tenderloin. Then the soda machines stopped working properly! The lines on finals night were extremely long and not moving quickly. Someone went out for concessions and missed 3 performances (over 30 minutes) and all he bought was 2 sodas and a box of candy. We spend a lot of money to attend this event every year. To miss so many performances for sub-par, over-priced concessions is unacceptable! Makes me wonder how you keep people coming to the Colts games if concessions are so poorly run.

Non-stop. Soul-stirring. Every member gave every last bead of sweat that they had. Just an inspiration for everyone who saw it. Simply, The Finest People giving The Finest Performance! Carry on, please.

It was a 'happening"! Performance at its highest level by young people dedicated to the art of sport. Lucas Oil Stadium and Indianapolis rolled out the red carpet to all the corps, their staff and the fans.

Fantastic as usual. Still had issues scanning to get into Lucas stadium. Drum line contest was great (being inside with AC really helped). Fife& Drum was awesome. Getting the corps in quickly for awards ceremony was great. Years past that was an issue with us. See you next year.

It is a nice venue but it is very expensive for food and water.

Drum Corps is the ultimate marching music. The show on Thursday was 11 hours long and we stayed for the whole thing. 11 hours of heaven. Nothing like a good company front to give you goosebumps. And the sound that blasts you out of your seat and streams your hair back. Can't wait for next year.

All shows were excellent; am tired of the one in #1 position of being there.

The DCI World Championships were a once in a lifetime musical experience in a great venue. Entry was simple and easy to navigate for a senior citizen and novice like me! I was very impressed by how well organized this large scale extravaganza was for the audience and participants alike. The sights and sounds were spectacular. We had never been to Indianapolis before, but we’ll be back. Lucas Stadium was ideally located in an elegant and beautifully configured downtown area. All was very walkable, and that was important and enjoyable for us. We had lots of fun! I won’t be afraid to use Ticketmaster again, that’s for sure. Instructions for use and updates and helpful reminders right up to the time of the event were spot on. I’m a more confident 77 year old concert goer now!

It has to be that we were just too high up in the stands… but we were not able to hear the drumline clearly. I hardly could make out the quints. The bass line was almost null. Big disappointment. I’d rather stream next time. The announcer did not announce the theme for most of the acts. So we were looking it up online and missing the “live” view/feel in the process. Crowd culture was rude. We spent lots of money to come down and see the show, it was not worth it at all. Never again.

As an alum of the marching arts, going to events like this is always fun. Everything was very well organized and thought-out. Concession prices were fair and the food was good.

The DCI show and the many wonderful corps are excellent. The talent is incredible. The venue could use some improvement. All guests must enter through one side. Multiple entrance points would greatly reduce wait times and walking. Concessions are largely closed for this event every year. There are many booths that could be open. Having some open for drink only options would expedite wait times. There are limited concession options with high prices and long wait times.

This venue is the best as is the Show I make the 4 hour drive to this venue every year and will continue to. Indianapolis is a terrific city and the DCI always puts on a great show.

Really enjoyed watching the best Drum Corps in the country. my family and I only attended the Final. No issues with parking, going trough security, Vendors, Concessions. Well staffed & friendly for the event. Had a Great time!

This years DCI is the best I can remember in terms of performances and atmosphere in the stadium. What bothers me is how hard it is to gey decent seats. I flew 4000 miles, booked my tickets as soon as they were released but had to get tickets from 3 different corps because everything on general sale had gone by the time I logged on at noon the day they were released. It should be easier to decent seats without committing to all three days or making a massive donation.

2023 event management was wonderful. I arrived right at gates open and had maybe a 90 second wait to get through an express security line. In 2022 I arrived 45 minutes before gates open only to find a massive single file line doubling back on itself for a whole city block while the event staff did nothing to encourage folks to use every security line and keep the line moving forward. Whatever problem there was last year seems to have been solved. A huge relief because it left plenty of time to browse vendors, watch the opening performances and not miss any corps... a stark contrast to last year when missing all that was commonplace. The corps performances were of course amazing. I look forward to attending every year for these talented kids.
