David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

  • David was great

by Dees on 12/4/23The Lyric - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

David was funny as usual. Wish he could have done another hour rather than have two opening acts. The first one which was a women was awful and loud. The second one was pretty good, but David was the best!

  • Great venue - Headliner lacking

by Keith on 11/20/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

The venue was great in terms of ease to get in our of the building. Seats are a bit tight, but that's normal for these places. Parking is flexible given that it's near 7th street and within walking distance of multiple bars and restaurants for pre-game activities. The two openers: Katherine Blanford and Johnny Miyamoto were great and brought good energy to setup for a good headliner. David Spade on the other hand did not appear to want to be at the show for some reason. He was using material from his previous Netflix special and did not even do a full hour. Was somewhat disappointed given how far in advance I bought these and paid.

  • He's hilarious

by Holly on 11/15/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

First were two other comedians who were pretty funny but you could really tell the difference in who the star was.... David Spade is a really talented comedian. Funny as hell. Top notch. Worth every penny

  • Not a good show

by Chris Taylor on 11/15/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 2 out of 5

Seemed more like a high school talent show. Venue was horrible. Will not seem him again if he returns.

  • Not just a fly on the wall

  • I had a blast

by Momthebank on 11/15/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

I had a blast he was very funny, the only thing I was disappointed about were the drinks offered at the event and not being able to take any photos or videos that part was important to me.

  • Disappointing venue and show

by SR on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 2 out of 5

The venue was outdated, dingy carpet and all parking was full except a parking garage a mile away. As far as the David Spade Tour, we were pleasantly surprised with the opening acts and surprisingly disappointed with David Spade. His material lacked luster, and was outdated, hasn't changed anything since covid! We love David Spade, but this was disappointing and boring by the end of it. Seemed like a waste of time and money.

  • David’s material is excellent and fresh

by Ethommie on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

The event was so well done. David Spade was extremely entertaining. I’m already a huge fan and listen to his podcast, interviews, Tik Toks, ect whenever they pop up on my feeds and everything he did at this show was new and fresh so funny. I could have listened to him all night. I’ve seen him in Las Vegas as well, and that show was hilarious too. He delivers a great performance every time. Read his book ā€˜Almost Interesting’ it is my favorite.

  • Epic

by Brashley on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Start to finish was non stop laughter. Great experience

  • Horrible show! Disappointed!!

by Jo on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 1 out of 5

If I could give David Spade’s show a half star I would. Terrible material. Old material at that. He wasn’t even trying! He was only on stage for less than 45 minutes. Waste of money and I’m a huge fan of David Spade.

  • Expected Good but received terrible!

by Pete on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 1 out of 5

I really liked David on SNL, movies and lately His Podcast but His Material just wasn’t funny! I took a chance to see His Stand Up Routine and was disappointed. I actually left half way through the show.

  • Not what I expected

by Disney Denise on 11/14/23Will Rogers Auditorium - Fort WorthRating: 3 out of 5

Mediocre at best. Thought it would last longer. Venue was less than desirable. No directional signs from parking garage to entrance. Was hard to find. Stage was dirty. I was cold the whole time. David Spade was okay. Kinda cringy material towards the end. Thought I would be laughing more.

  • Decent but nothing memorable

by VVSK on 11/8/23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 2 out of 5

Although Spade's part of the show was expectedly funny, the duration of his act was way too short. The warm-up acts at the beginning were not funny, too long and too American (loud for no reason). Evening was nothing memorable.. Owen Hart foundation annual shows are typically much more entertaining than this..

  • Nikki needs to go! She was terrible!

by Bee on 11/7/23The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

David is just effortlessly funny. Nikki was not funny at all. She was insensitive and cringy.

  • Hilarious!

by AlB on 10/18/23SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the show as every bit of his act was extremely funny. Female opener was great as well.

  • His movies are way better!!!

by Sarah on 10/18/23SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center - SacramentoRating: 1 out of 5

Super bummed with how boring the show was! We brought a big group to this event hoping for a good laugh but it never came. Totally enjoy David Spade as an actor but not as a stand up comedian.
