My friend and I enjoyed the concert so much. Would definitely go to future concerts when they come touring again

Pounding base backbeak that you just can't help tapping your toe to, backing up David Sanborn. Jazz, but with a rock and roll style. Great show, great venue at Villa Montalvo Garden Theater.

The concert was absolutely amazing. His music along with a picture perfect night made our evening at Villa Montalvo a night to remember

What a great night! David sounded as great as ever. The acoustics at Montalvo are amazing. Very intimate venue. It was a drive from our home in Stockton (about 2 hrs), but well worth it!

Montalvo is a great setting to see such an amazing talent such as David Sanborn. I went to see him up in Seattle earlier this summer and he is consistent in the quality of show he provides. Can't think of a better way to spend a nice, warm summer evening than to be outdoors, under the stars & listening to some smooth jazz!

Cool sax on a warm night made for a great concert. Given the age of the crowd, his older music was much appreciated. The only reason I would not rank it a five star is too much solo by the band. We came to hear David play and would have preferred more time devoted to his large portfolio rather than the individual solos.

Great concert last night. I had never seen David Benoit and he was excellent. But David Sanborn was OUTSTANDING!!! His band was awsome. The group was just so tight musically...we loved it.. Highly enjoyed this concert and would definitely go again.

Both David Sanborn and David Benoit both put on a wonderful show. The music as always was exciting, melodic, romantic. I have been listening to them for years and I was not disappointed to go to the live show and the two of them! Just fantastic.

The evening night was clear, the stars were shining bright, the wind had a slight breeze and the moon was smiling. That was just the perfect nite to witness two very powerful musicians. They were the clear nite, the shining stars with just the right amount of breeze to take you on a unforgettable evening. They illuminated their smile and music to a very captivated audience.

We enjoyed the opening act with David Benoit, personal and entertaining. The shuttle system was excellent and weather was a warm summer evening. Sanborn played ok, they seemed tired or same old performance. Drummer did great, he even busted the bass and commented during his solo, he needed it fixed.

Simply a wonderful evening, weather was fantastic,as always the Villa Montalvo was great and David Sanborn and his band sounded fantastic!!! Opening up for David Sanborn was David Benoit was magical on the keyboards!!! Just a great evening.

He was excellent, truly a master. Very good show. Great band.

Poor lighting, poor sound mixing, and the band didn't play well together. I like David Sanborn but this was not a good show. This venue is usually great, but in this show the warm-up band (David Benoit, Jeff Kashiwa) was much better!

Slightly disappointed in the overall performance by Mr. Sanborn. He had very little time on stage, and a majority of that was covered by his band-mates performing long, drawn out solos. We were shocked at the number of people who left during his concert.

David Benoit and David Sanborn created beautiful music in a wonderful setting. Felt very privileged to be there. They are just fantastic artists and inspirational with their talent.

Really enjoyed David Sanborn. I hadn't seen him in a few years; however, he can still get his groove on. He also had a great band. David Benoit was great too; however, I was not impressed with his band. I got there a bit late so I don't know if they were his regular band or not - but I wouldn't bet that they were. I've seen David before and he really does put on a great show. All in all, I had a wonderful time!

What an enjoyable evening listening to the talents of David and his band. Relaxed atmosphere and amazing skills made for another Montalvo event unforgettable!
