Absolutely amazing concert. David is as good as advertised and was fantastic in person. The opening acts - whom I admittedly had never heard of - were also great. The ballroom itself was a great venue for the show and I wish David would come back again and the venue would bring in more country artists!

About
David Nail grew up in a small town in Missouri, the son of a former high school band director whose musical collection included Stevie Wonder, Elton John and the Beatles. Nail turned to country in the 1990s, then started going back into its history and became a big fan of Glen Campbell. He moved to Nashville right after high school but returned to Missouri after a year. Two years later, he gave Nashville another try. He completed an album for Mercury Records, but it was not released. After taking a break from the music business to help coach a baseball team, he was introduced to music publisher and producer Frank Liddell. Their musical partnership led Nail to sign another record deal with MCA Nashville. His MCA album, I'm About to Come Alive, is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2009.

David Nail is truly amazing!!
by eeyore2311 on 9/20/12Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5David Nail is an incredible artist. His voice is so amazing and he is truly a gifted artist. The venue was small and intimate and the sound was great. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible, so I think this had an impact on the number of people that showed up. Regardless, David is extremely talented and I wouldn't hesitate to see him again and again.
David Nail = amazing
by LaMusique88 on 9/20/12Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Bowery Ballroom is an awesome, intimate venue. There are 2 easy-access bars in the back and downstairs. David Nail was phenomenal- he has great stage presence and his singing voice is great live.
Excellent Show
by 88E5PR1T on 9/20/12Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5Im a big fan of David Nail, and im not sure whether he prefers the small venues, or thats all he is able to fill at the moment, but it was a GREAT show. There were a few songs missing that i would have liked to hear, but overall both the show and venue were great... very intimate too: at one point David was just walking around the Bowery and we got to see him pretty close; and the venue is set up so that there really arent any bad views of the stage.
David Nail Drake White Matt Gary we want more
by countryclubber87 on 9/20/12Bowery Ballroom - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5so much fun to have GREAT live country music in NYC .... Awesome place to see a show and catch new talent > These guys really brought it for us... Love watching the crowd the band... and even getting to talk withteh artists as they sell their CDS, Shirts and "stuff" Bring them back and more like them to a venue like this...fun night
David Nail - Save your pennies
by dehowes on 6/21/12Tsongas Arena - LowellRating: 1 out of 5Saw him when he opened for Billy Currington, 2 nights in a row. ZERO stage presence, looks mad the whole time he is on stage. He NEVER smiled once the first night. Second night he smiled ONE TIME. He looks like he would rather be anywhere else than on the stage. His band even look stiff and uncomfortable. Way too serious, all of them. He has a beautiful voice, but after seeing him, I'll buy his music but will never pay to see him as a headliner. From talking with other folks who attended the same shows I did, and attended other concerts where he opened for Billy, there are many who have the same opinion
David Nail at Santa Fe
by Floridream on 2/20/12Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5The show was really great and David is an excellent performer!! However, the venue was horrible!!! No camera, no standing, etc... We couldn't live the full experience of a great concert!! Even David was disappointed...

David Nail was AMAZING!!!!!!!!
by laneybugphotos on 1/30/12Bluebird Nightclub - BloomingtonRating: 5 out of 5This is my fourth time seeing David Nail in concert and this was probably the best. His voice is like none other. He REALLY can sing! This is the type of singer you would rather listen to his voice live than listen to the CD. He is that good!
- by litllor on 1/29/12Bluebird Nightclub - BloomingtonRating: 4 out of 5
Great voice, music variety, great small venue and sang popular songs of other artists. Bought both CDs!

- by Anonymous on 12/11/11Chameleon Club - LancasterRating: 4 out of 5
Chameleon Club was one of the most unorganized venues I've ever been too....but that didn't take away from how awesome Sonia Leigh and David Nail were! Only disappointment was that David didn't do "Turning Home"
this was no joke!!!
by TheMaddGabber on 12/10/11Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5What an amazing concert at an amazing venue!!! Everything about this night was superb!!! Sonia Leigh was opening act blew me away and David Nail is officially an Honorary Bostonian!
Loved this Concert
by Mainebuttahfly on 12/10/11Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Opening act Sonia Leigh was amazing... She is definitely someone to watch. Unfortunately, we had to leave before David Nail came onto stage but we hear he was also fantastic.
He Nailed it!!
by OnlyAtHarvard on 12/10/11Royale Boston - BostonRating: 5 out of 5Absolutely awesome show. Killer close up venue. David Nail is as good if not better live than on his albums.
Better than the radio
by Megs86 on 10/9/11Tingley Coliseum - AlbuquerqueRating: 5 out of 5David Nail put on a fantastic show in Albuquerque despite the small crowd gathered. He is an incredible blend of country with a smooth, almost jazzy touch. He sang his classics and sounded even better than they do on the radio! Also did some great covers, including music like Gavin DeGraw, which was a nice treat. Great performer- enjoyed this low-key, sit-back-and-enjoy-the-evening, relaxed kind of show.
I love David Nail!
by Anonymous on 9/27/11Tingley Coliseum - AlbuquerqueRating: 5 out of 5David Nail puts on a very good show! I love his voice and he sounds great live. I hope his career keeps getting bigger and bigger and he does more concerts in Albuquerque.

We went to see PRCA Rodeo. Did not stay to see David Nail. Not interested.

Awesome musicians! Not very country, a different venue would have been better for him like a lounge, more intimate setting.
