David Nail grew up in a small town in Missouri, the son of a former high school band director whose musical collection included Stevie Wonder, Elton John and the Beatles. Nail turned to country in the 1990s, then started going back into its history and became a big fan of Glen Campbell. He moved to Nashville right after high school but returned to Missouri after a year. Two years later, he gave Nashville another try. He completed an album for Mercury Records, but it was not released. After taking a break from the music business to help coach a baseball team, he was introduced to music publisher and producer Frank Liddell. Their musical partnership led Nail to sign another record deal with MCA Nashville. His MCA album, I'm About to Come Alive, is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2009.

We had a great time, the venue ( Buckhead Theater) was great. David Nail and his bank were really good. This is my second time seeing him, and I will definitely go again.
David Nail has, hands down, the best voice live! Honestly, I go to a lot of concerts, and no one sings better than him. Amazing show, amazing night. I wish he toured more often. Super talented artist. Can’t wait for next time.
The show was great. I have seen David 3 times prior to this show and he was a lot more interactive with the crowd than ever before.
My wife enjoyed e joyed rhe David Nail concert at Choctaw. We had seats in the 3rd row, middle. He put on a good show. Great voice, stage presence. It was a little loud. Other than that it was a terrific way to spend an evening. Highly recommend.
The audio was horrible!!!! To much lead guitar and the vocals were drowned out with everything. The camera man for the screens had no clue what he was doing at all. I have spent over 15 years in the tv and audio industry and that was not a concert. I owned my own company and had the equipment to hold concerts so I know what I’m talking about. I was excited about the concert but at the end of the event I wished I had never gone. The artist is a great artist that’s why I wanted to go. This one was a flop for him unfortunately but not his fault
This is my 6th David Nail show and he is always a pleasure!! I had meet and greet passes too and he was so humble and sweet! He puts his own spin on his music, sings a few covers, and let's his band show off! I highly, highly recommend David Nail's shows!
Awesome show . Just to short. Would rather pay more for a longer show with more songs...
David Nail sounded great, but pretty sure he and his entire band were drunk throughout the entire concert.
Run to the next David Nail show! He is amazing live! His voice is flawless! So underrated!
David Nail has an amazing voice and the band members were excellent. Great venue to see the band up close.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the concert in which I was attending. The venue had posted on several different socials and on my ticket that the show started at 6. Finally at 9, the DJ announced that the show would start in 30 minutes. My dog has separation anxiety, so I try to not leave her alone too long when possible. I already had to work that day plus I live 2 hours from 8sec saloon. The round trip alone cost 250 miles of gas and 7 1/2 hours. I wasn't going to stay another 2-3 hours on top of that. I've been to 21 different concert venues & 28 concerts this year. I've never waited more than an hour after posted show time for a show to start. I may go see David this Friday at the Bluestone
Normally we see David as more of a sit back and enjoy the vocals and guitar playing kind of guy. For this concert he showed a different side and was hopped up and jamming out. It was like a David Nail jam session and he was quite lively all night. Loved the different side of him and he really enjoyed performing and we enjoyed watching! He did his big hits and several new songs we had not heard before. Excellent variety. The venue is always solid as you are up close but the seating is folding tables and chairs placed all around. Not exactly the most comfortable and makes it tricky getting in and out.
8 Seconds is a great venue, and David Nail didn’t disappoint!
The show was amazing. The small venue was perfect. David sounded great and did not waste a lot of time.He spent little time talking and played one song after another really giving that fans our money's worth.
David Nail is an amazing and talented artist. I enjoy his music so much and am so glad I was able to catch his show here in Las Vegas. The only negative I have is the Venue. The seats were very uncomfortable and the sound system was terrible - very distorted. Wish I could have seen him in a better Venue.
This was my third time seeing David and he just gets better every time. Loved his energy.
He didn't sing several of his songs we wanted to hear. Music too loud and couldn't hear the vocals. Didn't interact with the crowd.
First time at St. Andrew's Hall, second time seeing David Nail. I love great concerts at small venues! I'd take a small venue over a big one any day...more intimate, cheaper, easier. St. Andrew's is a very cool place! David Nail puts on a great show!
Great show! Too bad we didn't get to stay longer. David Nail didn't come on till 11 and the show started at 6. There was no other live music either. I know this is 8 second Saloon's way of getting you to spend more money however I don't drink very much at all so it did nothing but irritate me to have to wait that long especially because I had to be up early the next morning. Didn't even get to see any of our favorite songs
