I loved the concert! We were lucky enough to see David as he was leaving the theater too! What a gracious and wonderful person he seems to be not to mention his wonderful talent! I'm looking forward to seeing the Devil's violinist if it comes to other cities in the U.S.!!!

  • David Garret is a genius!

by Anonymous on 3/18/14The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

Best concert that I have ever been to. David is a musical genius. He is able to play a wide range of musical styles and is able to move through classical to modern music and back flawlessly. He draws the audience in and keeps you spellbound.

  • You can skip it.

Really lame concert, cheese songs and a waste of such a talent. I'd love to see him play with an orchestra more classical music and also play a really solo piece without the band. There was no light show just the band on the stage without anything to compliment the music. There was no highlight of the show. Too plain and boring. I liked him and his stories between songs but it seemed that they just wanted to get finish with the show. Maybe because it was a 3pm show. Disappointing!

The music was spectacular, as usual, this man has such incredible talent and makes that beautiful Stradivarius sing. So cool that he crosses over from classical to rock so seamlessly.

  • Amazing!

by Totarski on 3/18/14The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 5 out of 5

David Garrett put on an unforgettable show. Classics like Let it Be, la vida plus classical works made for an enjoyable show. The only downside were the patrons in front of us who brought their baby. Next time pay a sitter.

  • David Garrett was soo much fun

    by NutterButter685 on 3/18/14The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Really nice show, his talent is amazing, you can tell he really puts alot of effort and heart into what he does. I personally would have enjoyed it more if he played more classical pieces, the violin is such a beautiful instrument, i feel that the other sounds take a little bit away from that. But still a really good show, I would go again and I would recommend anyone to see him live.

David Garrett was amazing! It was a beautiful music-filled evening. Not only does David sound amazing on violin, but also has a great stage presence and engages with the audience. His variety of music was spot on. The Chicago Theatre is absolutely spectacular and I highly recommend seeing a show here, as well as seing David Garret next time he comes around!
