This is the third time I have seen David Garrett and his band perform and have yet to be disappointed. Saw him in Milwaukee at the Riverside on Thursday 3/13 and then the 3:00 p.m. show at the Chicago Theatre on Saturday 3/15.
I came over from Germany (on my way to Las Vegas) to see David. What an evening!
I flew from El Paso Texas to Chicago Illinois to see David Garett! I made him a drawing out of Pastel in hopes to being able to give it to him. I was so thrilled that I actaully got to meet him and take a selfie with him. David took my drawing with him! Amazing concert and unforgettable moment meeting him! Truly amazing!!
Incredible, Unforgettable, absolutely brilliant violin playing!! David Garrett is in a league of his own. A truly phenomenal talent. Oh - Did I mention that he is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS as well? Definitely born under some good stars!!!
kids wanted me to reserve tickets this early when he comes back in Chicago!! they thanked me for bringing them to his concert ;) we will see his concert again next time that's for sure..

David Garrett is magical! Can't wait to see him again. His repertoire is so incredibly diverse -- a true genius, and humble, too. I love the personal touch he adds to the performance by sharing stories about his love life (or lack of it) and joking in between the numbers. One annoying thing was that they let people come in 10-20 mins. after the show started (with drinks in their hands yet), which was very disruptive. If you come late, you should have to wait in the vestibule until intermission!
This was my first time to see David Garret, I just loved him, although I would prefer him to play with a complete orchestra than just a few musicians with him, but anyway I enjoyed him.
Amazing!!! Our whole family went...husband & kids....& we all really enjoyed it! David Garrett is awesome & we can't wait to see him again.
He puts on such an amazing show. He's truly talented.
This was the 2nd time my husband & I have had the utmost pleasure of seeing David GARRETT in concert in Chicago. I only wish we did not have to wait 2 years for him to come back! Hopefully, David will return sooner this time!
The best performance I've been to in a long time. The diversity of his music is simply outstanding and fantastic.
The show was AWESOME !! It was wonderful experiencing David's amazing talent in person! I found him to be quite "adorable" when he talked to the audience...he was very personable and down to earth ! I must admit that I was smitten by David Garrett !! His performance sounded just as good as his CD's, and you don't always get such clarity in live performances! I hope he returns to Chicago very soon because I would love to see him again !!!
Happened to catch a tv commercial promoting the show. Am so glad I saw the commercial-I loved the show. Performance was amazing : )
What a showman - from his entrance walking down the middle aisle as he began his performance, to his wide range of musical styles in his set list, to his earnest and intimate chatting about his life and his music, this show was a delight from start to finish. The arrangements with his small backup band were first rate, as was each of their talent - particularly the drummer. Further, David was kind enough to come meet with the fans waiting for him in the alley after the show, and chatted sincerely with no pretense. I will absolutely make a point to go see him perform whenever the possibility presents itself.
It was incredible to see how David and his group could transform classical music into music that was even more exciting than originally written - and made it music for 2014.
WOW! What a performer! I have no idea how his fingers go that fast. The mix of classic and rock is perfect. His back up band is terrific.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. We liked the fact that David Garrett plays selections from both classical and contemporary music. There was a nice variety of music throughout the afternoon performance.
David Garrett makes me think any violinist is sooo manly. He is very personable and what a fun show!
